Keone, The Downstairs Beach House, solo prato e alberi tra te e Hanalei Bay

Questo è il piano inferiore di un duplex con solo erba tra te e la sabbia. Si tratta di due camere da letto, un bagno, cucina, zona pranzo e soggiorno. Ha un grande lanai coperto e una splendida vista sulla baia dal soggiorno e lanai. Keone e Na Hoku (al piano superiore) hanno entrambi ingressi totalmente separati. Basta attraversare l'erba fino alla spiaggia.

Keone, The Downstairs Beach House è ottimo per un facile accesso. Nessun passo tra il tuo letto e la sabbia! Ha una piacevole sensazione di relax. Il verde fresco si riflette sulle finestre delle camere da letto al piano di sotto. Gemelli nella seconda camera da letto per bambini o amici single. Se siete due coppie, mettere insieme i letti potrebbe essere il piano. Il tuo lanai è il luogo ideale per rilassarsi, pranzare o in qualsiasi momento. Alcuni dei nostri ospiti prendono un bel panno e coprono il tavolo da picnic e vi posano sopra un mazzo di fiori. Con altri, i suoi giochi di sabbia e tavole da surf. Una doccia con vasca combinata è nella vasca. C'è un letto singolo pieghevole nel soggiorno che può ospitare un altro ospite. (La sistemazione standard è di 2 persone, ma può ospitare fino a 4 persone, è previsto un supplemento per gli ospiti)

Basta passare le palme e gli alberi di ferro fino alla sabbia. Se hai abbastanza sole, ma non abbastanza spiaggia, sotto gli alberi è dove sarai. Ottimo posto per leggere o Scrabble. Non tutta la vita delle vacanze è senza un po 'di fatica. Se hai bisogno di lavare i vestiti, il piano superiore, il piano inferiore e il vecchio stile condividono la lavatrice e l'asciugatrice a gettoni in questo grazioso piccolo edificio a pochi passi di distanza. C'è anche una doccia con acqua calda e fredda sul lato per sciacquare sabbia e sale dopo la spiaggia. Più divertente della doccia dentro!

Non sai mai cosa vedrai sulla spiaggia. Molte persone vengono qui per sposarsi, rinnovare i voti, celebrare anniversari, compleanni, anche per farsi battezzare! Canoe, surfisti, kite surf, pescatori, giocatori di pallavolo. Anche con tutta questa attività, la maggior parte delle persone vive la spiaggia con meno gente di quella che avrebbe potuto immaginare. Qualunque cosa stia succedendo in acqua, sarai nella foto quando verrai a Hanalei. Ti godrai il sole, la pioggia, il surf, gli arcobaleni e una splendida cittadina situata in una posizione favolosamente bella.

Tropical house with ocean view

The house and neighboring houses are very pretty, feel very Hawaiian. Unobstructed ocean/beach view across front lawn. Looking back to house from lawn opens up to gorgeous view of green jungly mountains. Living room and tropical furniture felt cozy when it rained. North coast is nice with small towns, small roads, less developed beaches. We stayed with our 2 adult kids which was a bit of a squeeze. They shared a room, and we all shared the bath. But the overall experience made the tightness well worth it. Would stay again.

As wonderful as always

This was probably at least our 5th stay at the Kobyashi’s “compound.” All the properties are in very good shape and well appointed. The views and sound of the surf are awe inspiring. Mahalo nui loa.

Great location!

Come for the location (steps from Hanalei Bay) and the experience of living on what is one of best, most beautiful beaches anywhere. The home was clean and well appointed but definitely not fancy. But fancy is beside the point when you are surrounded by so much natural beauty. Great experience overall.

Prime location

If you want to stay ON the beach, this is it! It is not the most luxurious place in Kauai, but it is very comfortable, has everything you need, and if your goal is to be outside and at the beach, this is as good as it gets.

Won’t stay here again

This.condo needs a complete refurbishment. There was no dishwasher. So we washed every dish twice. Before as who washed them and after we used it. The coffee pot is out of motel six. It hold two mugs of coffee and then wash it to make more. There is no ice maker other than ice cube trays. Straight out of the fifties. The furniture need s to be cleaned. Our bottom sheet Was balling The beach towels are worn out. It someone rents the upstairs. It is like no noice barrier. The laundry room is used by 3 houses and is fifty yards away. As is the outdoor shower. The best part is the patio where you can see the ocean. I have rented 7 houses in the north shore this was the worst.

A piece of heaven

I absolutely loved this place. Beautiful location. We would definitely stay there again. Two things I would highlight. As clearly stated on the listing, there is no air conditioning. I’m usually hot, my wife is usually cold. There were times we were both still a little hot with the windows open and the fans on, but not so much that we wouldn’t stay. Second, the washer/dryer isn’t in the unit, it is in a communal space with the outside shower. Knowing this, the way it’s listed makes sense, but that’s not how I read it/what I expected. We never had to wait to use them and it wouldn’t keep us from staying here, but I thought I’d include it so it was clear. Again, we loved it!!

Magical Getaway!

What a location!!! We loved it so much will hopefully make it a family tradition. House is super comfortable and clean. Might be time to update some of the kitchenware but had everything we needed. Outdoor shower was a hit with the whole family.

Excellent location

This downstairs unit is old but functioning and the location is excellent. You are ON the Hanalei bay beach and can see the waves breaking from inside the unit and from the lovely covered patio. Roll out of bed and take a nice walk on the beach or paddle out to surf on many of the different breaks around the bay. A lovely 15 min walk to "town" takes you to coffee and bakery in the morning and dinner at night. We were lucky to not have any tenants above us the entire week other than the first night. As expected, it is loud when they walk around above you. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. Check-in instructions were sent out a full week early from an unexpected sender, so I missed that email, making arrival a little stressful, including a call to vrbo. There is an outdoor shower and laundry a few steps away. Overall, a great place to stay.

Such an amazing property and location

We had a wonderful time at this house. It's perfect for a family with 2 small kids - they were able to run to the beach in the morning in their pajamas! The house itself is very clean and comfortable.

Paradise

This property may not be for everyone, but we loved it! It was quiet, close to downtown Hanalei and the beach out front is perfect for boogie boarding. You can also walk the entire length of Hanalei Bay. The property had all the necessary things for a great stay, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella and beach towels. With not much ambient light, the stars at night were amazing! The only reason I gave it a 4 overall rating is that it is a little dated, but for those who just want to kick back and relax, this is the perfect place!

Great location

Enjoyed our stay in Hanalei. Beautiful lawn area and of course the beach was lovely. The property was very clean and efficient. We rented some bikes and took nice rides around the area and to town!

Great location on Hanalei Bay!

We had a great, relaxing vacation in Kauai. The home has all the essentials we needed for cooking meals. The owner was extremely quick to respond to a burnt out light bulb request and we had a new bulb within a few hours. Everything was very clean when we arrived and the location has beautiful grounds with easy access to the beach / Hanalei Bay.

We adored our stay here! With active kids, it couldn’t be better. We came and went to the beach as much as we wanted, and also used the huge, wide open yard a ton. Comfortable beds also. The house has everything you need! We will be back!

Paradise on the North Shore

The location of the property is unsurpassable - steps to the beach, plenty of space to play, close to town and farmer's markets and other beaches. The house was well furnished and even without AC the breeze through the windows kept us cool at night. The lanai was the perfect place for meals and relaxing with a book. The yard was wonderful for playing soccer or stargazing at night.

Great Location, Could you some updating of interior

The property is older and could use a refurbishing. Tiles in the bathroom could be replaced. You need to know that there is no air conditioning which is quite common on Hanalei, but I would prefer to have some. There are plenty of fans though, and windows the open easily. The location is great with an easy walk across the yard to the beach. It is a large lot with 3 other houses on it, so if they are filled with a lot of people your privacy is not ideal. Overall, if location is most important this will work, but it is not luxurious.

Perfect Balance of fun and relaxation!

This property was perfect for us. Clean and simple on the inside, and had everything we needed to cook at home when we didn't feel like going out. Beds were comfy, lawn was great for playing, beach was right there. We had bikes and surfboards delivered to the house. One of the best family vacations we've ever had!
