“Staff very kind, good cleaning”

“The Yankee Inn was a convenient and affordable option for our visit to Tanglewood. The check-in staff was friendly and advised us of breakfast and checkout hours. The room was clean and thankfully well air conditioned during our stay there in 90 degree weather! The included breakfast was typical fare: eggs, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, bread/pastries, etc. As we were there for only one night, we did not take advantage of the outdoor pool or fire pit, but both appeared to be clean and well...

“The hotel is easy to find. It is clean, neat, and tidy. We checked in early - great! My one concern is the 800 grit sandpaper for toilet paper. Motel 6 uses better toilet paper. Unfortunately, the bean counters won. They have a great price on toilet paper, and the property suffers as a result. Everyone and everything was great. The toilet paper was from the 1950's - honest. Sorry to have to report this. Hopefully, this will get someon's attention.”

“Honestly, this place should close for renovations. It's a mess. • 1 working elevator for a 12-floor hotel. The elevator is used by staff (and their equipment) and guests. Elevator wait times were 10+ minutes. Watched a delivery guy? guest? employee? get on the elevator with a large e-bike. Plus side - the guests developed a friends-in-the-foxhole-like camaraderie while dealing with the elevator • The parking lot is unusable for the disabled, or anyone who might have rolling luggage. • Truly -...

“Great location for the historic District and walkable to Tanglewood. Coffee machine, and water dispenser available 24 hours lots of little spaces to sit and relax.”

“The Chambery Inn is in a great location to explore downtown Lee and attend shows at Tanglewood. Would recommend the Chambery to anyone coming to the Berkshires.”

“Condo was clean, with a well stocked kitchen and a comfortable bed. Hallways need to be freshened up. Even though it was the last weekend in June the pool and deck was not accessible.”
