“The Naini Retreat was fantastic! The property sits high on the mountain, offering beautiful views. The staff were exceptional: friendly and helpful. “I was disappointed with the room.It definitely needed a refurbishing since it looked old and tired. The bathroom was particularly disappointing with a great deal of work to bring it to the star rating. The spa too could do with a facelift. The one place that I felt was 5 star was in the dinning room with the chef and the catering manager taking the accolade,overall a lovely place to stay at.”

“Awesome stay at solitude. The staff is amazing and food is also very nice. Its very secluded and sound of river is very relaxing. They don't server liquor so make sure you get your own stuff, but they can arrange if you have not bought it but it would take some time. The river is not ideal for bath as the rocks are too slippery but you can sit at the side and enjoy tea/beer/soup. They also have small track to almost private waterfall named paritaal which is also amazing. ”

“The place is not even close to the photos on site. 2 night there, elevators dis not work. Elders had to walk up 4 flights of stairs. 2nd days they had turned lights off, waoting for accident ro happened. 2nd time there in 2 years, all the renovation mentiomed to is during 1st visit. Not there. Got worse. Never again will we stay there. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE.”

“There is no parking facility. We stayed in R.N. 15 top floor on 13th June. Rooms are dirty, smelly and filthy. Wash basin in bathroom is broken. No geyser in bathroom which is a basic need in a hill station. They charge Approx. Rs 4000/- per day which is far higher as compare to facilities available.”
