Questo splendido cottage a 5 stelle recentemente rinnovato tutto l'anno si trova a 2000 piedi da Harbert & Cherry Beach. Cucina adatta alle famiglie e ben attrezzata. A pochi passi dallo svedese Bakery & Luisa's Cafe. A soli 5 minuti da Warren Dunes e Sawyer Market. Veranda, firepit, 2 aree patio all'aperto su una corsia privata. Camino e grande sala grande con pianoforte. Ampia sala da pranzo. Questa struttura si trova nel cuore della regione vinicola e dista pochi minuti da birreria e fattoria locali e ristoranti da tavolo. Grande pesca e birdwatching. A pochi minuti da New Buffalo e St. Joe. Una culla e un materasso ad aria forniti nell'armadio 2a camera da letto, se necessario per i bambini. Goditi l'inverno nel nostro cottage. Gli sport invernali a Love Creek distano 18 miglia a Berrien Springs e offrono sci di fondo, racchette da neve e bici da neve. Una pista di pattinaggio all'aperto si trova nel parco di Red Arrow e offre pattini da ghiaccio a chi vuole pattinare sul ghiaccio gratuitamente. Spiaggia poco affollata e minuti da ottimo cibo e shopping. Kayak sul fiume Galien a 10 minuti di distanza. Smart TV su grande schermo e WiFi, giochi e puzzle da giocare. Se sei un musicista, il piano è ben accordato. Ventilatori centrali ad aria e soffitto per il massimo comfort. Stazioni di ricarica per telefoni e altri oggetti in ogni tavolino da letto.

The house had everything we could want and prettier decor than seen in the photos. Everything is updated and in excellent condition including appliances. Plenty of comfortable seating, comfortable beds, and CLEAN! It's in a pleasant setting and central to all we wanted to do in Harbor Country. The hosts were immediately responsive to our few minor questions during our 2-week stay. Favorite spot: screened porch. But the house would also be a great winter retreat. We hope to return.

Lovely stay. Immaculate property with everything we needed. Two comfortable bedrooms and two baths—perfect for our two couples. There is also a big sofa bed for larger families or groups. Lots of comfy seating in the living room. Very nice to cozy-in during the cool evenings. We really enjoyed the screened porch, too! Plenty of nice seating there, too. It was a little chilly for us to use the other outdoor areas, but they looked inviting! Communication with the hosts was prompt and helpful. Such nice people. Our only comment for future guests is to be aware there is a step up from the kitchen/living area to the bedroom wing, so may not be ideal for guests with significant mobility concerns. Not a concern for us, but could be for others. That said, the owners were very thoughtful in their placement of motion activated stair lighting to promote safety for all guests. The home is in a lovely, quiet area with very easy access to Red Arrow Highway and all that is great about SW Michigan. The Swedish bakery is really close! Yum!! We would recommend this VRBO!

The location of this beach cottage is fantastic. We were minutes away from a beautiful, long beach, a fun and popular swiss bakery with tasty nibbles, and close to Sawyer for dining options. Our hosts were very responsive to all our questions from the moment we arrived. We loved having our morning coffee in the screened in porch and the hot rain shower at the end of a day at the beach. Also lots of places to run and bike. We had a great long weekend. Thanks for your hospitality!

This is our second time staying here and we loved it as much as the first time! The house is clean, has kitchen and beach essentials and is a great location to the beach, restaurants, blueberry picking, dunes, other little towns. The owners respond right away with any issues (although we haven’t really had any). We can’t wait to go back!

Our Perfect Lakeside Escape!

Our stay at this beautiful beach house was everything we hoped for and more! If you're looking for a truly peaceful, beautiful, and complete escape, this is it. It genuinely felt like the perfect lakeside getaway.We loved being just a few minutes' walk to two different beaches – it made morning strolls and sunset views incredibly convenient and idyllic. And let me tell you about the bakery! It was something straight out of a movie, with absolutely amazing treats. It quickly became a delightful daily ritual.We left feeling completely refreshed and already miss the serene atmosphere. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful slice of paradise!

4th of July parents and adult children

The property was wonderful… old school cottage type. The back yard was shady and we enjoyed some meals outside. We loved the screened in porch and our family played board games and talked there. We tried to use the sofa sleeper but it was very uncomfortable. My son ( age 19) saw a mouse in the living room. This made him nervous to sleep there. Overall, it was a delightful stay … as your sign says, Lake this way, Bakery this way and we took advantage of both.

Absolutely wonderful!

We had an amazing time at this VRBO! We were so close to everything, the beach was within walking distance, there was a Swedish Bakery less than 2mins drive away that we had breakfast at 3 mornings in a row, plus New Buffalo was only 10mins down the road! The home was nicely decorated and very clean. I loved the new barn doors! We stayed with another couple and we played cards and very night in the living room since there is a great round gaming table. It was Hot and the AC worked perfectly. This home is definitely one we would stay in again!

Perfect Getaway

I stayed in this house for a long weekend during COVID in 2020 and vowed to come back and bring my husband this time. I'm so glad we did. The house is very inviting. The kitchen is well supplied with all the utensils and pans you'll need. The living room is supremely comfy, with one of my favorite reading-chairs in the world. And they have a piano! Both bedrooms are peaceful and quiet, the mattresses are comfortable, and there are two bathrooms. I especially love the screened-in-porch, which would be especially delightful during a rainstorm. Plus there is an outdoor dining area and a fire pit. And a mere 15-min walk to the nearest beach. Can't beat this place.

Lovely hosts and home

The house was immaculate, the location great! We walked each morning to a lovely Swedish Deli for breakfast, and enjoyed the walking path along the main road. It was a short drive to the beaches which were beautiful. They have clean bathrooms, water sports rentals and food vendor trucks. A great time!

Relaxing Family Getaway

My family and and I stayed at this property and really enjoyed our time there. Of all of our vacation rentals we've stayed in, this one felt the most like home. The property was as described, very clean, and a cozy and comfortable place to stay.

Great Cottage, would highly recommend!

This cottage must have recently been refinished/remodeled because it was in wonderful condition. And it was so VERY clean! At one point i started looking around for little bits of dirt because I was shocked not to see any dust or stains or anything at all. Very comfortable stay. The owners came through for us very kindly when a small issue arose and that was most appreciated. Also close to a very nice, not very busy beach. Loved our stay here!

All you need… plus

We (4 adults) stayed July 4-7, 2024. This is a wonderful place and better than advertised. We… cooked and baked, showered, borrowed an umbrella and chair, hosed off stuff beach stuff, hung out in the lanai, walked and drove to Harbert beach, ate in Sawyer and New Buffalo, used the pullout bed, had a day at Warren Dunes, chatted with friendly neighbors, and received almost instant feedback from the host to our questions… which were already answered in the instructions. It was clean and had some extras amenities. Great location. Even watching and listening to the rain in the lanai was nice. Five stars.

A Lovely Home Near the Lake

My mom and I stayed at the McGrails' cottage for one week during late June, and it was nearly perfect. The house is comfortable, well set-up for guests, and the screened in porch was particularly nice. The beds are comfy and I was easily able to cook using the pots, pans, and utensils provided. Some of the food in the cupboards should probably have been thrown out (some coffee that was kind of stale, the olive oil might be on its way out, etc), but we mostly bought our own food supplies anyway. My only suggestion is that they provide some instructions for how to use the TV. We managed to kind of figure it out, but never completely. Instructions would help. Oh and my mom suggested some guidance for the ensuite shower as it's a bit unusual, with more than one shower head. But those are just suggestions! We very much enjoyed our stay. A week of reading, relaxing, and just a little bit of exploring. Just what we wanted.

Cozy cottage

We had so much fun here! Thank you for sharing your clean, cozy cottage. We loved that the beach was a 10 minute walk (or short drive with gear and kids), a best bakery was a 5 minute walk away, we were close to so many fun things and a great screened-in porch at the house. We had a great family vacation. We can’t wait to come back!

Very comfortable cottage

My group of 2 adults and 2 young kids had a wonderful stay. The cottage was very comfortable, clean, and well-stocked, with space for everyone to stretch out and relax and a very nice screened in porch to enjoy the nice weather. The location is fantastic, with the bakery and the beach in walking distance. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Wonderful Cottage Experience!

This cottage is very charming and wonderfully clean. It's a great value for how close you are to Lake Michigan. It's within walking distance to Cherry Beach and Harbert Beach and only a 5 minute drive to Warren Dunes State Park. There is a long walking/biking trail going down Red Arrow Highway that can easily lead you to bakeries, restaurants, and a park. The kitchen stocked with any gadgets you may need. The master bathroom is absolutely gorgeous. Checking in and out is very easy. The property management is incredibly responsive. We already are anticipating booking next year!

Peacefully Perfect!!

Lovely, clean home in a quiet, wooded neighborhood. This cottage has every necessity and comfort. Furniture and beds are comfortable, sheets are soft. Home is stocked with everything a family needs. We were a group of 4 adults and two small children. We especially enjoyed the screened porch and firepit with smore ingredients provided by the hosts. Very close to multiple beaches. Bring your own beach towels and fire-starter logs (wood is on-site, but needs a little help to get going) and you will have a great time.
