“The environment is noisy, though the room is ok . The front desk staff didn’t know the check in process very well, and we waited for a long time for him to find out our reservation, which was not correct (It was paid online, but was told that we had to pay more). ”

“The hotel is showing it’s age. The carpet is old and dirty. The bed is as hard as a board. Breakfast had set menu where you pick from A to D everyday. It wasn’t quite good. The breakfast room was not very appealing. I was there during the virus outbreak where I had to be evacuated to one of their sister hotel since this hotel was very close to the train station. The sister hotel was way better although I only spent 1 night. I would recommend staying near the city center.”

“Excellent location. Steps from Centre Street and hundreds of restaurants. Good breakfast with variety of western and Chinese food. Good Wi-fi, free laundry. Only one small elevator, sometimes is busy. Not easy to wheel the luggage’s out of the elevator to rooms. High metal bar on the floor.”

“Everything is perfect the only downside is that staff only speak Chinese.”

“Very good location that offers plenty of shopping, dining options. The hotel and the rooms are luxurious and the service is great. One of the downside was that non-smoking floors still smells like cigarette with ash treys at the elevator hall. Also the swimming pool is not serviced by the hotel and other residents of the building can use it. Swimming cap was also required which the hotel did not inform us.”

“I was able to book for a very reasonable price right before the Spring Festival, which was a big plus. The immediate neighborhood has very little to offer, but cabs are easy to come by and a trip to the Pedestrian street costs 16-20 RMB (like $3.33 tops,) so that's not a huge deal. While the staff's overall level of English is not great, they are helpful in trying to figure out what you want.
