Residence a Harrogate

“Nice vintage hotel , breakfast was very basic, in line with expectations. Nostalgic location but beautiful”

“Opposite a Tesco and McDonalds which is handy - good location for bars and restaurants”

“Staff was friendly, full kitchen including washer/dryer, clean and comfortable. Ideally located. I’d definitely stay here again.”

“We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. Loved the different options to normal offerings with overnight oats and yoghurt smoothies. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely dog friendly hotel which we’d love to...

“The Old Swan Hotel is a classic mix of old world charm with a friendly welcome and the comfort with up to date amenities. We're looking forward to returning in the spring.”

“very modern and clean room”

“Overall, a really good hotel. I'd give it 5 stars for cleanliness, it was spotless. The only issue were the mattress, which was quite uncomfortable on one side and definitely needs replacing, and the parking space, which was very small and made parking a bit tricky. The location was great, with lots of lovely restaurants nearby. I'd definitely stay here again if I visit the area.”

“Had to cancel our trip due to a medical emergency and flight cancellation. Contacted all hotels we had booked—five refunded us without issue. Even Ryanair did. Cairn Hotel was the only one that flat-out refused, no empathy, no flexibility, not even a partial credit. I explained everything, even pleaded—but they just hid behind their “policy.” I could’ve paid more for the flexible rate, but budget was tight. Shame, because we were really looking forward to staying. Very disappointing experience.”

“Lovely staff lovely place staying again at the end odf this month and will be staying regular for work cheap roomy and lovely shower gel and shampoo clean room worth the price i paid if not more lovely and welcoming manager”
