1. We started off on the wrong foot with check in. I had to wait for the check-in person to finish his very important conversation with his work buddy before he asked me what I needed. No friendly welcome may I help you? BTW that was Friday night around 8:30 pm.
2. When I couldn’t get into the room, I was told to “push harder”. He barely looked up from his phone and never made eye contact. It must have been terribly annoying for him. I had to actually use my body weight to push the door open.
3. My room had a thin connector door to the adjacent room and they were playing loud music videos. I returned to the front desk & asked for a better room. They told me they would call and ask the volume be turned down. After 10 minutes still loud. Now it’s after 9, I went back and insisted on a better room which I got after insisting, firmly. No negotiation.
4. free breakfast with booking? They were not even sure what time it was! When I got to breakfast I had to go and get a coupon. First time I ever had to ask for what was guaranteed.
5. Not sure why no microwaves in the rooms? 1 very cheap and old microwave per floor.
6.ice machine on 4th floor broken. Had to go to another floor to get ice. Curious how long that’s been broken.
7. Saturday and Sunday AM staff very pleasant, courteous, respectful, asking me if I had what I needed, smiled, made eye contact.
8. Not sure why my room, bathroom and bed was not made after my first night?
9. Won’t ever return there.
