“When we pulled in the sign said “Hotel Indigo”. This was disconcerting since I had made reservations at a Holiday Inn Express. I also stayed at the same property in April when it was a Holiday Inn Express. It’s still an IHG property.. We appreciate the history of this hotel and it’s nice that the renovations celebrate this.. it’s on the National Register of Historic Places as the first motel on Route 66 in St Louis. ”

“Construction outside the property, but once you get inside, everything is very nice. Small, but modern lobby with small shop area for snacks and convenience items. The staff was very friendly. Really nice coffee shop, pizzeria, and cafe/sandwich shop attached. Our room was very nice and clean, with a large, modern bathroom. It was pet friendly, and our dog was comfortable there. We enjoyed our balcony. The smoking policy was a little confusing. When booking online, some rooms were designated as...

“We always stay at the Cheshire on our cross-country road trips. It's perfect for families and it's pet friendly. We like that it's clean, has character ( the rooms are named after different authors), and has good food options. The breakfast is healthy with fresh fruit options. But most of all, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I left clothing behind on one of our trips recently and they went out of their way to look for it and mail it to me! A special thank you to Roxie!”

“The hotel is super clean and very spacious room. Location is safe and just 10 mins from St Louis downtown. There are lot of good restaurants like Ocean Bistro to enjoy. Breakfast had lots of varieties hot and cold option. 24 hrs coffee and tea. Bar is open till 11pm. They have big fitness center, extra restroom in 2nd floor and water fountain. Parking I did is valet you just have to park in front of hotel and they will park for you. Check in and checkout was smooth. ”
