Hotel a Grover

“I accidentally booked incorrect hotel so cancelled on first day arrival. This review is for Expedia. They are awful to work with. Never book through 3rd party - always through hotel direct. I have confirmation email of cancellation fee according to their policy. However received email they are not honoring that and charging me the full amount. I am livid and will dispute this charge with credit card company. Expensive lesson. Lesson learned.”

“Lets start by pulling in, the parking is cramped. The property is functional but old. The staff was very nice. The elevator was broken and I was put on third floor. The hallways including the stairwell smelled very strongly of the devils lettuce. Hallways and stairwells very dingy and not well taken care of. The room was very outdated but HVAC and TV worked fine. All and all everything is functional for me traveling by myself, had I had anyone with me I would have chosen someplace else. Just...

“Room dirty. Noisy all night long due to road traffic and floor above. Not worth the price for the room.”

“Ricky was great and fixed our leaking toilet and helped with supplies, The other guy was terrible. The WiFi didn’t work at all. The hotel is old and needs a major overhaul. Breakfast bar had old bananas, 2 cold cereals, mini waffles and canned gravy with biscuits. (I took my own food for breakfast). The mattresses are SHOT so you will have a back/hip ache. The best thing was that Ricky was nice, helpful and had a nice smile.”
