Absolutely Disgusting – Avoid at All Costs
We stayed at Heritage Inn & Suites by Wyndham and it was, hands down, one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had.
To start, we found puke-covered pillowcases in the closet. Yes—actual vomit. No sheets were provided for the pull-out bed, and when we asked for some, we were told they were “locked up” and that Megan couldn’t access them. Her solution? Offer us a different room, but with no assurance it had been properly cleaned either. At 10:30 p.m., she promised us sheets… which we didn’t receive until 5 p.m. the next day, after we had already spoken with the GM and had housekeeping come clean our entire room. And even then—they left the puke-stained linens behind like some sort of souvenir.
The pool was cloudy, the breakfast area was filthy, and unless you’re the first in line, don’t expect food—they don’t restock anything. Eggs and sausage were your only options, and even those were limited.
There was also a lot of sketchy activity in the parking lot at night—enough to make us feel uncomfortable even walking to our car. Not a great vibe for families.
Overall, the hotel was dirty, disorganized, and the staff seemed completely without leadership or accountability. And those glowing Expedia reviews? Don’t believe them—they’re not describing this place.
Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else.
