“The staff were very nice and helpful. The main areas of the hotel are pleasant and the hotel was clearly once a very grand building. The superior double room we had was a bit tired but the main problem was the heat. It was facing the afternoon sun and it had been a hot day. “The breakfast was excellent but wasn't at the Lady Hamilton it was 2 doors down. The double room was tiny, more suited to a single room. There was a very small space between the wall and the bed and care was needed not to nudge the kettle on the way past. No space for furniture although a hanging rail and a few shelves were behind a curtain. There was a stool. To exit the property there was a steep staircase and a fire door that shut behind you. “I have not received the code to get into the room, I sent a couple of texts and no reply, so rang but he spoke so fast I could not catch what he was saying but eventually got in. The was ok but when you go to the fridge the floor caved in it was the carpet stoping you from causing you harm”
