Cottage a Hathersage

“Very comfortable property in pleasant surroundings and perfectly placed for lots of scenic walks around the Peak District, would highly recommend.”

“Ideal for us on a short visit to family with fog in tow. Foolow a lovely village with great pub and stunning views”

“We had a lovely time staying for a week with our German shepherd dog. Perfect base for exploring the peaks. We really enjoyed the dog wash and private garden space.”

“The apartment was well furnished, comfy, the decor first class and had everything we needed. The manual was excellent. We can thoroughly recommend this venue for a short stay.”

“Liked this cottage it was very spacious, well equipped and in a perfect area . A starter supply of milk cake's tea and coffee was very much appreciated 👍 .Will definitely make a return booking.”

“We booked for two nights at this cottage but unfortunately, our experience was so bad that we left after the first night and went home. After we eventually found the property (signage and directions were not great) we found it unlocked with no key. There was one electric heater in the living room but otherwise the central heating did not work and it was a chilly evening. The thermostat did not rise above 16 degrees. “ Very clean and nice apartment. Very nice host that allowed us to check out late”

“Well thought out cottage design very well presented but testing for size - just an extra 5% of space would yielded 20% increase in convenience and enjoyment. Hosts and neighbours are excellent. Parking is unusual but workable. As a couple (one Aussie and one Aussie born in Yorkshire) we really enjoyed our time at this cottage and would highly recommend it. Walk to village is 10 minutes and huge number of attractions within 40 mins.”

“Lovely holiday get away, horse stables on the working farm was lovely, was a shame my maltipoo dog did not feel the same way. Great value for money. Bottle of wine was very much appreciated.”

“Lovely house and very quiet location which is what I loved . Everything you needed in terms of kitchen facilities /utensils etc . Lovely comfy bed , down side was late check in 4pm and early check out out 10am , no breakfast included but other than than lovely .”

“This flat has everything you need for a few days in the Peak District. It’s just steps away from pubs and restaurants as well as several main walking tracks. The kitchen is well furnished, and the shower is roomy with plenty of hot water. The washer and dryer are separate rather than the all-in-one we’ve sometimes found. We had a wonderful stay, and we would stay here again.”
