Bwthyn Gwe Cottage in heart of St Davids

  • Ty Gwilym Holiday Cottages are set in the heart of St Davids, very close to the Cathedral, restaurants and shops and yet, five minutes form the coastal path and Whitesand Bay.

    Bwthyn Gwe is a traditional stone Pembrokeshire cottage…. overlooking the secluded courtyard and makes a wonderful holiday cottage for two in St Davids.

    The cottage has a 28ft open plan ground floor with wood-burning stove, fully equipped kitchen including gas fired Rayburn; a large bedroom with king size bed.

Another lovely week at Bwthyn Gwe

This was the eighth year running that we have stayed in Bwthyn Gwe . This year we visited in October, apart from our first visit we have always gone in the first week in June. Whatever time of year a visit to St. David’s and staying in this lovely cottage is a real treat. We spent some time exploring the amazing cathedral and Bishops palace, walking to the coast path, just 20 minutes away or wandering around St David’s with its independent shops and great coffee bars and cafes. The new tapas restaurant is very good. After all that the lovely garden is a joy to sit in with a glass of wine.

Excellent service and comforts of home.

This is classed as our 2nd home after many years of returning to St Davids. The cottages are comfortable and well located with parking that is a premium in the area. We have have brought friends and family with us to share the experience that we enjoy each time we visit. We would thourghly recomend these cottages to any couple or family who want to relax in a home like enviroment with all the specail places to visit in the area along with that special feeling that St Davids give you.
