“Clean, comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was decent breakfast selection. I would recommend staying here!”

“Everything was clean and the staff were great. We did have an issue with the lock sticking on our door so we couldn't close the door. But otherwise everything was great. It's in a quieter location a little outside of Boone.”

“Friendly staff. We needed maintenance at 10pm for the AC and the young man who came was amazing! He even came back to make sure everything was okay. The breakfast bar closes down at 9:30 which is a little early but good selection. My only complaint was about housekeeping. The room was very clean but the shampoo bottle and hand soap were empty. It is one of those set ups where everything is a larger container attached to the shower wall and next to the sink. I hate this set up and I’ve...

“So the staff, for the most part, was good. Only exception being the housekeeper who slammed the door in my face when I went to ask why there was no bedding for the sofa bed. Front desk helped me right out. Had a pretty good stay. It was me and 5 kids in a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa sleeper. I advise you bring something to clip the curtains closed with. “The place was very clean with a full kitchen, comfortable bed, access to a large number of tv channels, and a nice living area. Not being particularly technologically savvy, it took some time to figure out the check in, especially since there is no check in staff. The tub sides were quite high and the shower lacked stabilizer bars, which made older folks like myself feel a bit unstable. The shower floor could get slick and result in a fall if not careful. “We stayed in the Loom House, not until we arrived did we know we were to occupy the oldest habitable log home in NC. While the bed was comfortable, the small fridge was iced up and smelled of old food. There was no TV. There were nail heads sticking up out of the floor upstairs and the floor creaked loudly every time we got out of bed to walk to the bathroom.
