Hotel vicino a Hay Festival - Hereford

“A charming, 'old school', hotel, with friendly and attentive staff. Plenty of stairs to help one keep fit! Excellent choice of cooked breakfasts, with tasty local ingredients.”

“Had a short but wonderful stay at The Harp Inn. Breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Bedroom was small, cosy and quirky. Had a comfortable stay.”

“Terrible place. Beautifully grand building, but dirty with dead flies and stains over everything. One that was once probably beautiful feels more like a squat nowadays. Don’t go at all. Very gross.”

“Lovely people - thank you”

“Stunning location, right by the river - lovely views from bedroom and breakfast room. Easy, flexible check-in which was very helpful and breakfast was delicious. There is a lovely pub close by, about a 5 minute walk that did great food and nice wine. Thank you for a lovely stay!”

“Albergo veramente carino con pub/bar annesso, camera con letto matrimoniale comodissima e bagno ampio e pulito. Il proprietario è stato gentile e premuroso per una prenotazione dell'ultimo momento, ci è stato un disguido per il pagamento ma risolto telefonicamente senza alcun problema l'indomani. Questo albergo l'ho trovato un piacevole soggiorno.”

Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. ”

“Loved our peaceful stay in this very well equipped cottage. It’s in a great location with loads to do in the local area. The cottage has almost everything you could want, including a dishwasher! ”

“Well maintained and characteristic property with exposed beams and period features combined with modern decor and facilities. The only thing to be aware of is there is no shower in either bathroom (likely due to low ceilings), although both have a mixer tap with a showerhead so you can sit / kneel and shower this way. Whilst its proximity to the road is close, it was not a busy road, so passing traffic was not an issue during our stay. There was a pub within 1min walk of the property that also...

“Great location, very friendly and helpful owner (Steve), excellent facilities and very comfortable holiday home ….with 7 days of 20+ temperatures and wall to wall sunshine ! …only very slight negative being that the windows could prob do with a better clean given the great views. Steve’s recommendation of the Seven Stars at Aberedw about 2 miles away was also excellent…nothing fancy about the food but very tasty, good portions and a really nice environment in a community owned country pub.”
