We loved this cottage so much! The dock and jetskis were SO fun! Our daughters especially loved Samoa the dog and the two cats that were so so sweet around the property!

Cute, cozy stay

Place was right on the lake and had very beautiful views. "The Cottage" was neat and clean. Bed was very comfortable and we slept super well. Kitchen was fully functional although we didn't' end up using it for most of the time. It is on the property of a main house, but they were never loud or noise or anything. One of the delights of the visit was the neighborhood cats. They were hilarious and would meow and run up to you looking for pets. They tried to follow us right into the house, but we managed to keep them out. They were very friendly and fun. Thank you for the delightful place to stay, we'd be happy to stay here again if we are in town.

Very relaxing

Lovely area. Very quiet and peaceful. My husband and son had a great time fishing off the dock and I had a great time exploring the nearby English Point trails. Very comfortable and cozy home.

The Cat

This was a wonderful experience. We loved that Twea (what we named the cat) came up to the door and hung out with us. The vibe of the house was amazing and the beds were super comfy. It was a great place to just hang out and enjoy ourselves.

Hayden Lake Getaway

This property was the perfect place for our family to have fun in the sun on Hayden Lake. We had an absolute wonderful time there and made precious memories with our family. The property was clean, well stocked and had very comfy beds. We had excellent communication with the property manager and enjoyed our time so much.

What a place!

This was the perfect place for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Interactions with the host were all great, the king bed is very comfortable, there's good space and a dock dedicated to the unit guests. So restful right at the lake. This was only our second day not in the car in two weeks on the road and it was perfect. The YouTubeTV was even logged in for local TV access (not sure if that was intentional). Responsiveness from the host was immediate when I had a small initial problem with the lock (my fault) but slower after that when it wasn't an urgent issue. I don't consider that a problem in my case but YMMV. I would love to stay here again for a longer vacation.

Hayden Lake Cottage - Falling Rock Hazard

The booking process was easy, all my questions were answered, and the owner was nice enough to allow a small dog with an additional pet damage deposit. Very clean and well-stocked! The 2-star rating is for the $325 damage to my car wheel that was caused by falling rock off the hillside next to the parking spot. I suppose you can call this an act of nature but there is no mention of the risk of falling rocks in the posting, or the guest binder, and the property manager and owner didn't warn me, although it appears to be a regular occurrence because three days after a 10-pound, football-size rock hit my car another softball size rock landed against the house under the HVAC unit in the same area. I paid out of my pocket for the repair because the owner didn't offer to, VRBO insurance doesn't cover it, and my State Farm car insurance has a $1,000 deductible.

Long weekend at the Cottage

My girlfriend and I accompanied 2 friends to stay here for the 4th of July weekend. We had a great time very relaxing and pretty. The outdoor cats are super friendly!

A great little spot

I feel like the design and effort put into this space was perfect. I have 2 boys 7 y/o and 4 y/o that fished from the dock all day. The space was fully stocked and easy to keep clean. I couldn't ask for much more.

Good, but not great

While my family and I did enjoy the great views and had a blast swimming in the lake, the cabin was a bit frustrating. The first thing that was frustrating was the amount of cats. These cats either belonged to the homeowner or the neighbors, but there was anywhere between 2-4 outside the door at all times that were attempting to come in. One managed to find its way into the cabin and we had to coax it out. In addition to this, there was a minor leak in the cabin. Not a huge deal but there was still a leak. The entry way to the cabin was built in a way that did not allow any drainage, so after it rained we were constantly walking in and out of a big puddle. The area was great though and having our own private dock was a blast.

Great Little Cottage for a Family

Overall it was a really nice stay. The little cottage worked well for our family of four with our two boys on the bunk bed in the living room area and us in the master bedroom with the king bed. The kitchen was nice and well stocked for what we needed. Sadly it rained the whole time we were there so we didn't get a chance to enjoy the outside part much but it looked nice! It was a narrow drive back to the location of the cottage and was tricky backing out to leave but sometimes you have to deal with some of those things to be in a more secluded area.

Lake Hayden Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here. The lake is beautiful and the docks and patio so relaxing! Our host and property manager were friendly, thorough and quick to respond. Lots of wildlife to see the fishing was fun. It's a fairly short drive to stores too. Perfect for the two of us!

Cozy, clean, comfortable, private, views!

The Cottage was a wonderful place to stay! It was so well stocked with kitchen appliances and dishes, coffee, baking and cooking essentials, and plenty of pillows and bedding. The views are beautiful and we loved spending time on the dock right on the lake ! The area is quiet, nestled among tall pine trees where we were able to see hawks and even a bald eagle swoop down over the lake! The host was very friendly amd responsjve with information! Very clean, cozy and inviting!
