Questa è una casa adorabile e personalizzata che ha vinto l'ASID Design Contest ed è stata presentata a Minneapolis / St. Paul Magazine. Progettato per sembrare un accogliente cottage dell'Hampton, con vista sul lago da ogni stanza.

Ampio gazebo adiacente schermato per ulteriore vita all'aperto. 5 camere da letto con 4 bagni completi. (3 camere da letto hanno il loro lavandino nella loro stanza) Cucina con isola in marmo, zona colazione e cornice del focolare (piano cottura, frigorifero, forno a microonde, compattatore per rifiuti) 2 caminetti a legna e camino a gas. La sala da pranzo a due piani con un abbaino è arroccata sopra una vista panoramica del bellissimo Nelson Lake. Soffitti a volta, abbaini affascinanti e un bel lucernario aggiungono dettagli insoliti.

Questa serena ambientazione privata offre 400 "di riva del lago privata. Meraviglioso pozzo del fuoco vicino al lago, un tavolo da picnic, giardini perenni lungo i sentieri della riva con una panchina per godersi quei magnifici tramonti ascoltando il richiamo dei lunatici in lontananza. Terrazza e terrazza con barbecue. Aria e calore centrali dappertutto.

A place to gather family

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful home! We have additional family on this lake, so it was awesome to find a home to rent on the same lake, that would accommodate us. It was a bit of a family reunion, and over the week we ranged in age from 3-78! The house accommodated us all! Nestled on a beautiful lot, the home is right on the water. The large kitchen and great deck allowed us to grill and enjoy meals together. We enjoyed the spacious lawn, playing outdoor games, watching the Olympics, playing many card games, and just being together in a very comfortable atmosphere. Our kids and grandkids love to waterski, wakeboard, tube, swim, etc., so a big portion of our week was spent on the water. Some also fished and enjoyed some success with that! :) We mostly ate at the house, but enjoyed the "real bakery" in town for some morning treats, and the trip down Main Street was a fun one. The coffee shop and grocery options are quite good. We had a couple of issues throughout our stay and the host was responsive in getting those sorted out. The outdoor gazebo was a wonderful spot to enjoy the outdoors and avoid the bugs! lol There are several beautiful arrangements and art pieces in the home, some of which we gently put in a closet for the week so that they were not a temptation to the little ones! We would definitely come back if the opportunity arises!

Not Your Typical Lake Property

Very comfortable property. Plenty of room for 10 people of all ages. Bring your own "stuff" to play with, as this property requires it.

Award winning home on Nelson lake

This is the second time we have stayed in this home. What a great setting! Easy access to the lake with a boat dock. Great place for fishing or kayaking. The owner is very friendly and addressed any need we had in a timely manner. Thanks again for a lovely place to spend with family!

Best Sunsets

One of the best locations on Nelson Lake. Beautiful house and enjoyed the screened gazebo. The lake was clean and nice shallow sandy area for the little one. Nice pier but the water too shallow for us to be able to dock our large boat. Fortunately, the boat launch is nearby. The location is also close to get to the atv trails. Parking good as we had both a boat and atv. The house was supplied with everything that we needed. It was a bit difficult getting in touch with the property manager as we had poor cell reception with our service and she was out of town which she did make us aware of. She was most helpful before our arrival. Upon our arrival there was a musty smell in the house. It aggravated those of us with allergies. After running dehumidifier and air conditioning it cleared up. Would be absolutely perfect if the carpeting would either be replaced or deep cleaned and the mattresses on the main floor in dire need of replacement. Still, we had a wonderful time.

Terrific get away in a beautiful home and beautiful location

We had a wonderful two week stay. We hosted doctoral students from 4 states the first weekend. Then we had brothers and in-laws for a few days followed by adult grandchildren. Everyone appreciated having a spacious and scenic location to gather.

Great house

The house, property, and location on the lake was great. The only downfall was that the house was not cleaned well at all. There were crumbs, hair, and dust throughout the house. We had to spend a few hours of our time to clean ourselves.

Nelson Lake House

We enjoyed staying here. The gazebo was our favorite spot to hang out any time of the day. Very peaceful. My suggestion for the main level of house is to remove some of the chandeliers and replace with ceiling fans. It was a hot week up there and the AC was running non stop…hard to keep this level cool. Especially at night for sleeping. Ceiling fans would help tremendously to circulate the air. The master bedroom upstairs should have some type of window coverings by bed and sink area. Sun comes up at 5:00am and it’s shining right in the bedroom. All in all we enjoyed ourselves sooooo much!!!! Wendy S.

Beautiful vacation home.

This vacation home is every bit as beautiful as the pictures. We chose this home for our annual fishing and relaxing trip for three senior couples. We found everything to be very clean and the furnishing to be vey comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious as were the bathrooms. We had lots of room on the decks for our coolers and fishing equiptment.The large gazebo was a great place to at, relax and enjoy the colorful sunsets and scenery. The neighbors and caretaker were all friendly and helpful. The large yard was great for parking our vehicles and trailers. The fishing on Nelson Lake and off of the dock was great. Thank You for a wonderful vacation.

Family get away

Perfect house for a large group that wants to be together but also needs some space. The outdoor dining was phenomenal as well as the layout of the house. Would love to come again and enjoy a fire in the fireplace on crisp fall days

The home provided lots of options for the family for gathering. We loved the gazebo for meals. The little restaurant across the road had good pizza, the owners were fun. We also rented a pontoon went to where the sand bar is and had a nice lunch near there on the water.

We were looking for a quiet spot to have the whole family come stay if even for a couple days. All 3 of my boys and GF’s / one wife all got to enjoy this place during our weeks stay. Amazing location, large fire area, and the GAZEBO! Everyone agreed that this place was AWESOME!

Lake living at it’s finest!

The home and property was everything our family could have asked for. Three generations spent a week enjoying this beautiful home and location on Nelson Lake. Whether you are on the deck, the terrace, in the gazebo, the kitchen, dining room or living room the lake views are spectacular. The home is spacious and had everything we needed to settle in for a relaxing week. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed fishing and boating from the pier along with nightly bonfires in the fire pit.

Lake Nelson Hayward

Definitely beautiful spacious property for family gatherings with special decoration touches. The Gazebo is a bonus for an outside gathering area. Couple of things to note, there is a resort across the street which caught us by surprise to hear out door music in the evening. Also garbage cans are small and if filled up expectation is to take garbage to the local dump. Be mindful it does costs $6 per container (we had 2) The dock area is well kept and nice sandy Beach area.

Beautiful Home, Cozy Winter Stay

This is a lovely, spacious and very well-kept home. It's on a point and has half of the tip and nearly all of one side of that point. So the setting is just beautiful. My wife and I stayed of Christmas, so there was no swimming involved! But we had a cozy stay - just a great getaway. And even if you mostly stay inside as we did, you have beautiful views from every room in the house. Highly recommended.

Fall MEA get-away

We stayed at this beautiful lake home for a long weekend in October. It was very quiet and peaceful on the lake. We enjoyed walks up the road and throwing rocks along the shore. We played catch in the huge yard and had a fire in the fire pit. It turned into a snowy weekend(!) so we only had one outdoor fire and enjoyed playing games indoors next to the indoor fireplace! This kitchen is well stocked with forks for roasting marshmallows, crockpot (which we used), tupperware, plenty of pans, dishes, and silverware for a crowd. There are also a couple puzzles and games. The kids were a little disappointed that the gazebo furniture was covered up for winter but it's totally understandable for the time of year--not like we could have enjoyed it on that frigid weekend! It would be a fantastic, screened-in space to hangout in nicer weather! There is tons of space inside and out and had everything we could need!
