Cottage a Haywards Heath

“We loved the cottage and the serene location, and we appreciated the kindness of our friendly hosts!”

“My husband and I enjoyed a week in Mill Barn in early June. Unfortunately the weather didn't want to play along so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful garden as much as I had hoped, but that was no loss - the cottage is adorable inside too and it's perfect for cozy cocooning when it's rainy. We enjoyed the smart TV, bath and wonderful shower, as well as the well equipped kitchen. There are plenty of fun day trips in the area and Penny was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. I would book...

“Very welcoming and well thought out accommodation. Would definitely stay again ”

“Het was moeilijk communiceren met cottages.com. Ze gaven steeds aan geen geldig e-mailadres te hebben ontvangen. VRBO heeft wel alle moeite gedaan om het contact te leggen, water erg gewaardeerd hebben”

“I had a really amazing time when I stayed at this property and was pleasantly surprised with everything that it had to offer. Both my partner and I had a wonderful, cosy experience and believe it was an absolute bargain for everything that you get! 10/10 :)”

“Lovely quiet place for a short break. Local pub is very friendly and location is not too far from places to visit by car. Glamping Pods very clean as well as toilet block and also well equipped. No issues and really liked that on the day of departure the owner came to say goodbye and ask how our stay was.”

“If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest.”

“This turned out to be a home away from home. Our hosts were superb, making sure we settled in and were comfortable. There were lots of little details that made our stay enjoyable and memorable. Items such as the history, displays, wildlife and so forth. The only true and meaningful compliment that we can offer is: Would we return? Absolutely. In fact, we are already starting our plans for that return trip.”

“Cleve Cottage was a lovely little cottage with gorgeous Orla Kiely decor. Everything was very clean. The kitchen and shower-room were lovely. It was well situated for walking up to the town, the nearby Southover Grange Gardens and the station. We had to contact the owner as the parking permits had been overlooked but she resolved this. We didn't have any problems finding somewhere to park during the week. Although the instructions asked that the heating be turned off on leaving, there weren't...

“The location of the Potting shed was ideal as we were going to an orienteering event close by in Pippingford Park. The welcome treats were lovely and the rooms felt warm and cosy.We had an issue with the WiFi as the access as described was very intermittent. We contacted the owner about it and used a different WiFi name.”

“A luxury cottage in a beautiful setting. Tastefully furnished with a pretty garden. Unfortunately the countryside setting wasn’t that peaceful as sporadically two very loud men were working on restoring some vintage double decker buses in the adjoining barn - language and diesel fumes not so welcome.”

“had a very good break, enjoyed the stay, apart from the weather, could do with a bit more garden for the pets”
