“Place was a ghost town. Tun didn’t drain, split system and sunlight made the room very bright at night. Beds were good, check in with code was easy, construction next door, found screws in the parking lot. ”

“It is an historic hotel deep in the mountains so it does not offer amenities that many hotels would like a pool. That’s not necessary as it offers such beauty and tranquility along with a great breakfast, cafe and a bar. Sit on the 100 footlong porch and rock yourself happy. ”

“The cabin was very clean. I suggested some lights for people arriving in the dark as the drive up to the cabin was very dark. We had a wonderful time.”

“The area is great if you are staying around Cherokee, Maggie Valley, Waynesville, etc. The room was definitely worth what I paid for it, but when I stayed, the pool, hot tub, and elevator were out. The breakfast was very good and the staff was helpful, but not much was done with a smile. I would stay here again, but it would have been nice to use the pool and/or hot tub. ”

“No ice bucket. No wash cloths. Accessible room without a hand held shower nozzle. Handicapped parking on the other side of the drive. Staff was friendly and room was clean and comfortable. ”
