“Do not believe the good reviews. This hotel is filthy! The cleanest area is the front desk. Dirty sheets, roaches, moldy, broke down ice machine with parts falling off, floors are disgusting & all the carpeting hadn't been vacuumed for a while! Electric outlets without covers, air conditioner hardly worked in our room, no air conditioning running in the building on July 3rd 2026! Grounds are littered with trash, glass, beer cans and cigarette butts everywhere! Breakfast isn't edible! There...

“I've stayed twice in a month.... it's perfect. It's an old roadside motel - but the owners have done a great job with the place. It was clean and comfortable and a nice chair outside of my door.”

“This is a Hotel from the early 20th century. It has wonderful character. It doesn't have AC but does not really need it due to being up in the mountains at about 3500 ft. a room fan and open window was more than adequate. We had small issue with a smoke detector battery getting low and the detector started chirping at 4 in the moring. They don't have over night staff so it was fixed in the morning while we were out and fixed by noon. They do have a weekend breakfast that was very good. ...

“We had an amazing stay in 2 bedroom apartment July 4th weekend. Very quite property, nicely decorated rooms, everything looked new and clean. Definitely will return.”

“Upon arriving at the hotel, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Offering suggestions about where to eat, asking us if we needed anything additional to make our stay comfortable. We had come in from the Biltmore estate and upon arriving to our room noticed that it was definitely older and had a fair amount of wear and tear. The wallpaper was peeling and the pull out sofa bed had definitely been past its prime for use. The room was very clean though so that made up for everything...

“Great location, very clean and comfortable! Friendly and welcoming staff, from the front desk to housekeeping. Even on a holiday weekend it was family friendly and quiet. Coffee at the free continental breakfast was surprisingly decent! However for the caffeine snobs, would recommend a quick drive to historic Hazelwood for Beach Mountain Diner and the coffee roasters cafe across the street.”

“Pool and hot tub was great, room was clean and nice. Staff was great. Everyone was nice and friendly! Only drawback was the location of our room. We were right next the elevator so lots of traffic and noise, especially early in the morning and the conditioner was nearly empty in our room. They have a nice breakfast though! Highly recommend.”
