“I loved the atmosphere of the guest house. It is homely and comfortable whilst being very clean as well. Located in the centre of town it is conveniently situated for absolutely everything and the owners, Maria and Clive, are friendly, welcoming (as are their pets!) and they clearly love the building and the business. Breakfast was plentiful and well made which set us up for the day! I really enjoyed my stay there and look forward to returning. ”

“Beautifully situated within easy walking distance of shops/walks/harbour and beach. Room 16 was small, which is expected in an old building, but was characterful with great sea view. The thick walls made it very cool on a scorching day. Only downside was bath could do with a shower curtain and car park gets very busy and is 5 min walk. Enjoyed the food in the restaurant both at breakfast and dinner. Would stay again.”

“We came during winter and had the place all to ourselves. The hotel facilities were closed and we had to check in and have breakfast at the hotel across the road. However it was totally worth it. The room was beautifully decorated with views from every window. Heating was fantastic, firm mattress, brand new renovated bathroom, and the best cookies. The town is across a small bridge and was so picturesque. ”
