“The smoke alarm was malfunctioning in our room and woke us up numerous times. We were on a 33 hr road trip and we're trying to get 6 hrs of sleep, we got absolutely none. There was no maintenance staff available to fix it. We were offered a refund upon checking out and still have not received it. Staff admitted it was supposed to have been fixed that day but repair person didn't show. Why would you put guests into that room then?”

“I checked in to the Rodeway and immediately noticed the room was filthy and the television didn’t work. There was fecal matter (not a little, but a lot) on the toilet seat and the air conditioning unit was so dirty I didn't want to touch it. I spoke to the gentleman at the desk and told him I could not stay there because of what I had seen. He offered other rooms but I was not interested and asked for a refund.
