“This place is a little gem. A great deal of thought has gone into the rooms, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Very welcoming staff who clearly want the guests to have an enjoyable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again.”

“Due to excessive external temperatures during my stay staff had left the windows open which was understandable in the circumstances. Unfortunately my room (215) overlooked the High Street below. From 0400 hrs the noise from heavy agricultural traffic was constant. I accept it was my choice to continue to get a circulation of air into the room however it was at the cost of being awake very early in the day.
Next time would book a room facing the rear of the property.
