Lovely property that well suited our needs, very comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. Only issue was the parking as it is a small area off the main driveway on the front lawn. Best access is via the main drive because of the deep curb from the road, which I definitely did not want to attempt in a rental. However there were cars were parked in the driveway right up to the roadway every morning so getting out of the parking to avoid the curb is very challenging. The roadway has no parking signs on it so not an alternative option.

The unit was spotless, decor was nicely done, appliances looked clean and new condition, owners were so friendly and accommodating. Very impressed!

Host responded quickly, provided information upon clarification requests, provided photos, set up the additional sleeping arrangement, linens and towels appeared to be clean, livingroom sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. 20-30mins away from university. Poor air quality no ventilation. Was advised unit was professionally cleaned between renters, but cowebs, thick dust in bathroom vent, dead spiders, greasy residue on microwave, food crumbs in the livingroom futon, old receipts, dust under beds, etc were clearly visible in the unit - several of the guests ended up with bloody noses and headaches. Some outlets were not working some were taped with green painters tape. Microwave had no apparent ventilation burnt marks on upper cabinets - did not use Did not use microwave, stove, dishwasher, washing machine or dryer. Damp, mold, mildew smell throughout the unit especially in kitchen dining room and bathroom area . Dehumidifiers were provided in the livingroom and kitchen dining area that had to be emptied every couple of hours. Small Parking space on front lawn - does not fit full size vehicle ie van, suv, truck. Unsafe driveway and stairs leading to the lower unit blocked by a parked car. Only one small mirror in bathroom. Very loud overhead unit, no insulation between upper and lower unit, could not get any sleep in between the hours of 2am - 8am, even though the host requested vacationers to adhere to the quiet time rule. Very loud stomping, talking, moving of furniture.

Great place

Great place to stay. Very clean and spacious. Use of all amenities. Easy to contact host via the Vrbo app. Good Location. Not far from downtown Halifax. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay.

Great Suite

Great basement suite. Very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Beds were very comfortable including the sofa bed. Communication with host was great. Would highly recommend and would stay again.
