Summary:
This charming and fully renovated Queenslander heritage home lies at the heart of Urangan and is
only a short stroll away from beautiful sandy beaches and the iconic Urangan pier.

The Space:
The house has 3 bedrooms equipped with air-conditioning and smart TVs, 2 bathrooms, a cosy living
room, laundry and a fully equipped kitchen.
Polished timber floors , a spacious deck with a daybed ,back and front entrance and off street
parking.
1 queen bed with ensuite, 1 large double bed and 2 King single beds

The Neighborhood:
Located in the direct vicinity are cafes, restaurants ,bakery and shops and also the Urangan pier
market. The market is held every Wednesday and Saturday and is popular with locals and tourists
alike and offers local produce ,handcrafts and food stalls .

Getting Around:
The Hervey Bay Airport is 6km away and the bus stop with frequent buses to the Maryborough
Railway link is in front of the house. For those arriving without transport a car rental is conveniently
located across the street.

Booking offices for either K gari and whale watching tours are in walking distance as are the pick up
and drop off points.

Family Christmas Holiday

The property was well situated however, the functionality of the house was not the best. There is no outdoor seating or cooking facilities, there is only a daybed on the balcony. Kitchen could do with a restock - no coffee cups or tea towels at the property. There is no TV in the common area however all bedrooms have a TV. The house could do with a really good clean, a fair bit of dirt and dust on the windowsills. Access is through the upstairs back deck door.

Very noisy at night

The house is very close & walking distance to everything you need which was great. I couldn’t read anywhere that I couldn’t get in the front door. After trying for 5 minutes I went around the back to initially get in. Front door is double bolted top & bottom. Bit of a fire hazard. Unfortunately, the house is on a very busy corner. House vibrates & is loud inside every time the same loud cars & motorbikes took off from stop sign every night. Not so much hoons, just the loud cars & there was plenty. No wardrobe in bedrooms. No tv in main living / dining area, only in bedrooms. Need some coffee cups, not just tea cups. Cracked & chipped bowls & plates. Was told I could use the back yard if need be. But couldn’t as it’s been blocked off by a wire fence & a vine. Someone put their caravan in there while we were there. The listing photos need to be updated as it’s deceiving. Would I stay at this house again? No.

nice house, noisy street

Lovely house close walk to everything. Unfortunately on a busy corner and no sound proofing or insulation. Hervey Bay seems to have a high population of bogans that drive around in noisy vehicles all night. Not a place for a good nights sleep.

Lovely stay

Lovely stay in great location walking distance to pier, markets and close drive to boat ramp, boat club and more. Property was well appointed, lovely and comfortable with everything we needed for our 3 night stay.
