“The inn is old so know you are going to hear people above you and doors closing. Very creaky floors. The check-in was ok. The woman was very rude. Not friendly and more interested in reading her paper. The young ladies later on in the day were smiley and friendly. Late afternoon check-in was nice dealing with them. Breakfast was good the gentleman is there watching and replacing items. Great location. Beautiful gardens. We did not use the pool. But bc we were close by heard all the noise. I...

“It is a pet friendly hotel they have a designated area for travellers with pets. Nice that you can walk and see the lake. Friendly staff, clean rooms.”

“It was great to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Close to the state park with lighthouse museum and fort michilimackinac within easy walking distance. The free shuttle bus to Sheplers ferry dock was also appreciated.”

“Our room was quiet and clean. Adequate breakfast. Easy walk to all the restaurants, ferry rides to Mackinac Island and fun activities. Would highly recommend.”

“Pros: 1. Conveniently located on state street, across Shepler’s ferry port, 2. Good selection of hot breakfast and helpful attending staff, 3. Ample parking space, keycard access to the property and room Cons: 1. Old building with less appealing appearance, 2. Old room carpets that haven’t been deep cleaned in a while, 3. Queen beds were mediocre and not too comfortable. Overall: good for 2-3 nights stay.”
