“It’s a lovely hotel and very convenient stop. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
We only had breakfast but it was delicious and plenty of it. The decor was lovely but needed a bit of tidying and the vase on the table needed a clean. I’m not keen on fake flowers which gather dust and the winter sun shows the glass vase needing a polish.
I’m being picky hoping I’m being helpful. It was a fab stay and I thoroughly recommend it and would stay again. ”

This structure is not suitable for food and the breakfast is very poor and NOT cheap. Apart from this, there is no agreement with the hotel and you have to sign a book each time you enter. Sure I'll NOT came back.”
“Had a very comfortable stay. Beds really comfy. Staff really good especially Fiona she was very helpful. One little thing shower was too cold and also could do with recycling bins . It was lovely and clean . Have stayed before and would definitely stay again. Durham a lovely city. ”

“Lovely place to stay. My only criticism is when asking where to park the receptionist on the phone recommended a car park miles away (st Mary's). Don't! As long as it's not a match day, it was easy to park straight outside and then don't pay in the blue car park, they have a code inside for half price. ”

Walking distance from a sports bar pub & a nice Indian, other restaurants around the area as well.
