“The house is well-equipped, with a lovely conservatory. It is close to the road, but there was not too much traffic. I would have liked to stay longer, but we were on our way to Orkney.”

“Location, location. If you don't mind winding down a farm road for almost a mile through woodland and field, opening and closing livestock gates along the way this is the place for you! The house is warm and cozy and superbly outfitted. The beds are very comfortable. The lawn and gardens are bountiful, with canal paths and woodland walks right outside your door. We made good use of the wood fired hot tub, the outdoor fire and even the barrel grill. Our contact with the property manager was...

“The house is really big and spacious. The large round table in the diningroom is very nice. The kitchen is well equiped. We liked the fireplace. The house is near the A9, but you don't hear any traffic. It has a good location if you want yo visit Inverness, Urquhart Castle, Loch Ness, Fort Augustus, Fort William, climb the Ben Nevis, take the (Harry Potter!) train to Mallaig, feed alpacas or taste whiskey at Dalwhinnie. The house needs some tlc; fix some broken tiles and give it some paint....
