“Welcomed by Keith who talked us through everything in relation to breakfast, our room etc. Everything was perfect. Hubby was happy as coffee machine in our room! Spacious, large en-suite with good shower. Loved the ‘hair straightener’ slate on the dressing table to ensure no burn marks left - I used that. Huge choice for breakfast. Lovely room to eat it in. The property is in a great position. Would definitely recommend & return. ”

“Paula and Rob were the perfect hosts ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. The cottage is essentially in two sections, each with its own bathroom & meeting in the kitchen which allows plenty of space for everyone. Gregor answered every question we had in a very timely manner and even gave us a ride to the train station on our last day. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "The right place for a one night stay. Close to the ferry pier and the fish market. The building is old without lift, reception in the pub at ground floor. The room has everything you need in a tiny space. Windows haven't been renewed, very hard to open. Usb plugs by the bed are a smart idea but unfortunately not working. I asked for luggage deposit next morning as I was on a day tour (like 80% of tourists in Oban) but I wasn't allowed due to a private event. Overall a good value for money if you look for an essential stay. "
