“Debbie and Dave made us feel very welcome, room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was spot on and service fantastic, would definitely stay again. Bewdley and Kidderminster town, Stourport and Safari Park very close to where we were staying which also made our stay enjoyable 🙂”

“Lovely place, easy to find and parking was easy with just a short walk - the room was lovely, as were the staff and breakfast! Unfortunately I had a bit of a rough night as although I was placed into room 8 which was advised as one of the quieter rooms (I couldn’t hear the road or trains or anything in this room) a neighbour/other guest upstairs was making lots of noise into the night which I appreciate the hosts cannot necessarily help”

Highlight of my stay was throwing the ball for their two awesome Border Collies and chatting to the staff/managers at breakfast. ”

“Great traditional pub in a suburban area ( visit to relative) wonderful publican and staff. Parking was very tight. Stayed in the room frequented by British rock stars Robert Plant and Christie McVie, which was a nice. Despite being next to rail station we heard nothing. Fabulous’full English’ breakfast - try it !! No elevator - quite a number of stairs. ”

“Beautiful location, a little out the way but had everything we needed. We initially had an issue with the pillows and duvet as my husband is allergic to feathers, but we were allocated a different room to resolve this. The staff member on duty for breakfast was super friendly, and the food was delicious. Overall, a perfect weekend break.”

“Absolutely loved this hotel and would definitely go back. It was a real gem, had lovely seating areas downstairs, a huge bedroom with really good quality furniture and amenities. A lot of thought had been put into the tea and coffee making facilities in the room, lots of choice and different tea selections”

“Lovely old hotel, recently renovated. Lobby area, bar & restaurant were excellent. Room was a little small, but otherwise really nice. Location is very good. Parking for motorbikes felt secure. Would definitely stay again. ”
