“Tessa and Peter were wonderful. They picked us up from the airport after our very long overseas flights.
The accommodation was lovely and comfortable, especially the bed! 10/10 for comfort. The place was very clean, tidy and welcoming.

“Fantastic hotel. However, be careful with Expedia. I thought i had a good deal but when i saw my bank account it was American dollars and not New Zealand dollars. I would never have spent that much money for one night in a hotel. I will never use Expedia again. I feel it is unethical. No other travel site does this, they always use the currency of the country you are in. It was a lovely holiday but i feel sick about the amount of money spent. I feel scammed.

“We are very happy to stay here. The service was outstanding. Th e staffs were warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We arrived quite early and asked about early check-in, and the front desk kindly accommodated us, which we really appreciated.
The room was comfortable and thoughtfully designed, and the location was excellent. Breakfast was another highlight, with great quality and lovely service.”

“We had a great stay at The Observatory in Christchurch. It’s a beautiful hotel—formerly a university—and they’ve preserved the original aesthetic, which gives it a lot of character. The photos honestly don’t do it justice; it’s even more stunning in person.
The room and bathroom were very spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless. The location is also very convenient. Would definitely recommend staying here.”
