Not So Relaxing Vacation
We have stayed at Turnberry Village before because we like the area , their pool and the quietness of location. This was our first time at this unit. The unit has a great location, close to the pool and park area and overlooks the beautiful golf course . Check in was very easy and car pass was mailed before arrival. Property is showing some wear and tear and it was not as clean as the other properties we have stayed in at Turnberry. The AC unit broke 2 days into our vacation. We notified the property manager and they addressed quickly but the unit needed to be replaced and it did not get fixed during our stay. Property manager did bring us portable AC units to help cool the unit. Temperature ranged from 79-84 with units. We did ask if we could move to a different property but because we were traveling with our dogs there was only 1 other property that was available. We did not like the property or location so we opted to stay at Turnberry. Property manager did give us a discount for our inconvenience which we appreciated . We felt they were doing the best they could with a bad situation. Some things were out of their control. We did end our vacation early because of this. Things that are showing wear and tear should be addressed and repaired, fixed or replaced prior to renters arriving. Maybe this situation could have been avoided if the older AC unit was replaced sooner.
