Relaxing

The villa was very comfortable and quiet. Short distance to the pool. The kitchen was well furnished. Everything was easily accessible. A few instructions may have been helpful. Did not know how to adjust thermostat. It got a little muggy certain days. Through trial and error we figured out how to work the thermostat. But at first we turned on the heat and it was already too warm. I have no complaints.

Great Stay at a Beautiful Home!

My grandmother and I stayed at this property during our family vacation! It was clean and comfortable and such a nice place to come home to after a long day at the beach! The pool and hot tub area were great!

Comfortable

If you want clean, comfortable and pet friendly, this is the place for you. Our stay was nice. It was a little disconcerting that we arrived to a large hole in the ceiling of the bathroom and 2nd bedroom closet from a leak in the above condo. We were not notified prior to our arrival, but property management assured us the leak was fixed and they were waiting on drywall repair. Still a little advanced notice would have been nice. Overall a comfortable get-away. If you want to lose the crowds take a trip to Daufuskie Island. Not many people and just peaceful!

This is a great spot for a vacation rental and very pet friendly. We were able to walk to the beach and checkin was very easy. Worked great for our weekend getaway!

Great location and nice place, but not clean

Great location and nice place, but not clean. The condo is dog friendly and when I sat down on the sofa, I was covered with dog hair. Dining room cushion seats are stained and crusty, bedsheets were absolutely dirty with dozens of human and dog hairs. Bathrooms had human hairs on the counter. For one of the bedrooms we had a replacement comforter because the comforter we had had crusty dirty spots. The other comforter had the same issue and one comforter replacement and one blanket later, both of which had hair and crusty dirty spots, we finally found a blanket that was clean. These were not stains, you could feel the dirt to the touch. Also, the owner did not respond to multiple messages in the two days prior to our stay. Once on site, VaCasa was responsive. Other than the cleanliness of the furniture, the condo is nice and spacious, it’s a great location, neighbors were nice, and we had a fun time.

Excellent property!

Nice two bedroom condo located in shipyard. We enjoyed our stay and all of the amenities provided by the owner. Short drive to the beach. Clean condo and comfortable furniture.

Charming Villa Short Walk/Bike Ride to Beach

The property was as advertised. Very quaint and clean. (sandy floors are unavoidable at the beach!) Master bedroom was spacious with large King Bed and cozy couch for reading. Small walk in closet with hangers was a plus. The guest bedroom had a queen bed and a day bed that converts into a twin size bed. Perfect for our needs. Plenty of drawers and closet space in this room too! The charging station in the house was so convenient and appreciated. We were able to charge everything in one spot. We also loved that the unit had puzzles and even dog toys! The unit had a good kitchen with everything we needed. Coffee maker, fridge, toaster, pantry, dishwasher. Plenty of plates and tupperware, and silverware. Could have used more bowls it was not an issue :) The unit had 2 showers which was convenient for the size of our party. We also love that it is pet friendly and we were able to bring our two dogs. We had no problem finding a place to set up their crate and we had plenty of room in the master for their dog beds at bedtime. The back patio was shaded and quiet although small. It would have been better for us with the dogs and bikes if the back patio had stairs leading in and out. Parking spaces are tight in this parking lot but parking was plenty available when we were there. The pool is right around the corner from the unit and was perfect for when the kids were sick of the beach. It offers loungers and shade and also has a hot tub. The unit also had beach chairs/boogie boards and toys in a closet outside, so if anyone doesn't want to pack those items you can use theirs. Take a right out of the parking lot and pass the pool and you will see the entrance to the bike path on your left. It takes you right to Sonesta/Shipyard Beach .5 mile bike ride (5 minutes) or walk (10 minutes) to the beach entrance. Overall we would definitely recommend this villa for the value and location. We would stay here again. Thank you!!

Very nice but needs some touch up.

We enjoyed staying at this condo. It was centrally located and an easy walk to the beach. We had plenty of room and were particularly glad that they were pet friendly. The only suggestion I would have is that more effort be expended to keep the condo clean. Dishes in the cabinet were not clean, bathroom shelves had visible dirt on them, and there was a pile of beach sand on the bathroom floor.
