We had a great vacation getaway!

Although our stay was just a couple of days, it was enough to know that we will be back. Everything was great. In addition to the ocean and all that Hilton Head has to offer this condo had a beautiful pool. We were traveling with our toddler grandson who loved that the pool even had an area that was 6”-8” deep. There is something for everyone to enjoy or just sit back and relax at this well maintained property.

Great place for a getaway

My sister and I met for our yearly gettogether on Hilton Head and this property was perfect. Clean, convenient to beach, and in our favorite area, Palmetto Dunes. A small glitch in picking up our materials when nobody was in the office and it was not in the lockbox was remedied with a phone call and trip back to the office. All was well.

Very clean. Great location. Needs updating.

Villamare is a great place right on the beach and close to amenities. The unit was very clean but needs updating. The king bed in particular sagged in the middle and needs to be replaced. The kitchen was not well outfitted. Overall I would recommend but suggest the owners invest a bit of money to bring it up to an acceptable level.

Nice location

The condo was very clean & the master king bed was very comfortable. The unit isn't oceanfront, but there is a view of the ocean. The pool is large & the hot tub is kept hot which is nice cause it was too cool to use the pool. There is also a decent gym in Villamare which has treadmills, ellipticals & bikes as well as some weights. We enjoyed our early December stay.

Comfortable Condo In Beautiful Surroundings

Villamare is a beautiful condo community with convenient beach access and lovely landscaping. Our condo was spacious and well-decorated, with comfortable beds and a large supply of fresh towels. We didn't see beach towels or beach equipment (which didn't matter to us since it was too cool for the beach during our visit), but perhaps they're put away during off-season? The underground parking is tight and we couldn't find any directional signage, so it took a while to find the right building and then a convenient elevator. It would help to include this information in the check-in packet, which can only be obtained at an offsite rental office, another minor inconvenience. Other than that and some not-too-clean silverware, our short visit was enjoyable and we would definitely recommend this condo to others. By the way, thank you for the large supply of coffee cups, something we have often found lacking in other rentals!

Excellent location - literally on the ocean! Great spot on HHI too. Clean Easy check in process Great communication from property rental company Could have had more blankets, paper products Not clear that outdoor pool and hot tub would be closed. Thanks! Recommend this place!

Nice Condo, Great Location

The location allowed easy access to the pool and beach. It’s right in the center of things to do. Booking was super easy, and I had direct contact to the property manager for some quick questions I had. Furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. There was a view of the pool and beach from the main bedroom balcony, which was cool. What would have made this a 5-star stay is if they had provided some pool/beach friendly items like pool/beach towels, beach chairs, beach items. Would have also been helpful for the owners to leave a welcome packet that provides their recommendations for things to do in the area. We’ve had both of these at other VRBO rentals and appreciate those kinds of extra touches to help newbies in the area and people that flew down.

Review

Unit was located with an ocean view. Had all we expected with one exception......the window blinds need replaced. Some were missing leaving the window not covered on the ends in the living area and the one in the bedroom had missing slats, damaged slats, and they did not close properly leaving the bright sunlight coming in very early in the morning. Very disappointed that this was not taken care of.

Fun stay

The place was nice but believe the cleaning service missed several areas. The only complaint we gave is that our 1 15 year old daughter came up to the room to get something and was confronted by 2 grown men saying they were there to replace washer and dryer. They were very precessional and asked if she could call a parent to come up as they were not comfortable being there with just her we were grateful for that. We were never notified of any repairs going to be done. I called and emailed Vacasa and am still waiting on reply. The repair man showed me the Email to the service manager letting them know they would be there to replace so Vacasa knew but just never notified us someone dropped the ball there.

great long weekend

We stayed three nights over Memorial Day weekend with a four kids and two adults. The place was perfect! Close to beach, big pool, nice ocean view, lovely balconies. Would definitely rent it again.

Loved the villamare did not enjoy the condo

I would not stay in that unit again. I paid a lot of money and the shower backed up had to have someone come and fix there was black mold in the kitchen cabinet because the water from the shower leaking in there when too many people showered at at the same time the water got cold. The towels that were given to us were either new or cheap because we had to wash at least 4 times which still did not do the trick they shed white fuzzy all over your body and soaked absolutely nothing up. Unfortunately we were so close to pond we couldn't sleep with doors open because of the frogs. I loved the villamare but extremely disappointed in our place and would not recommend

Great week, nice condo, but not thrilled with the layout.

We love Hilton Head, and we had a great week. The only complaint I have was that my husband and I had to "live out of our suitcases" for the week. There is not a lot of drawer space or closet space for clothes in the master bedroom. The master bedroom/bathroom was really small also,so it felt like we were tripping over our stuff all week. The kids used the other room, and there was plenty of space there for them. That space would actually make a better master bed/bath. But, I realize this is a "floor plan issue" and not the fault of the owners. We enjoyed the week! Also, one thing I was not happy about was that I booked through VRBO, and ended up paying an extra $118. The property is managed my Wyndham, so if I would have booked directly through them I could have avoided the extra charges. Will have to look into this before booking with VRBO again!

Beautiful view

Beautiful condo. Couldn't hear any neighbors above or below. Great view of the ocean. Nicely decorated and clean. The kitchen is barley stocked so don't plan on cooking much. Pans were old and scratched, no working can opener.

Wonderful Experience

We loved our stay at Villamare in Palmetto Dunes. The condo was top notch; the decor was beautiful, the updates to the whole unit was inviting, and the weather was perfect! We were only in Hilton Head for 4 days so we did not stock up on a lot of food, but we so enjoyed walking the few steps down the beach in shorts and flip flops to enjoy a couple of beach front restaurants. Thank you so much for helping us make our Hilton Head mini vacation a wonderful experience!
