1. Did not receive housekeeping for the first day.
2. There was no body wash in our room for the entire duration of our stay, despite our repeated requests. The housekeepers did not speak English and relied on their phones to translate. I also noticed housekeepers keeping their purses on their carts.
3. There was a water leak coming from the ceiling, and drywall was coming down. You could notice that someone had recently patched it up, but obviously, it was not repaired. After repeatedly asking for someone to look at it, they sent the serviceman to my room at midnight, and he let himself in.
4. We were on the 5th floor, oceanview, and the ice machine room on that level reeked of mildew, and the carpeting was completely saturated outside the ice room door.
5. The carpeted hallway floors were filthy with trash in various places.
6. I had to wait in a long line several times to address these issues. During our last night's stay, a person in front of me had his room broken into.
I could go on and on about this place. They lack staff, and there are building problems and maintenance issues that need to be attended to at the very least.
I am not normally a complainer, but I paid this top rate, and I expected a seamless, clean hotel with great service. It was far from it. Very disappointing.
