The Sanctuary - Ocean View Farm with Outdoor Spa

Expansive windows showcase giant gum trees, rolling farmland and the coast beyond, creating a scenic backdrop from morning to sunset. The light-filled living area centres around a wood combustion fireplace, with firewood supplied throughout your stay. Settle in with a book from the home`s library, gather for a board game or stream your favourite show on one of the four Smart TVs. The kitchen is equipped with a large island and quality appliances, while fresh herbs from the garden add a seasonal touch to home-cooked meals. The dining area shares the same breathtaking outlook, making every meal one to savour.

The primary bedroom features a king bed and ensuite, while the second offers a king bed and the third a double bed. Heating and electric blankets in every bedroom ensure year-round comfort. The main bathroom includes a walk-in shower, bathtub and generous vanity, while smart toilets in both bathrooms add extra comfort. A separate laundry, Wi-Fi and ample on-site parking complete your stay.

Outside, the covered alfresco sets the scene for long lunches, with a spacious dining setting, BBQ, hammock and hanging chair, all perfectly positioned to take in rolling rural views and distant ocean vistas. The 4.5-metre hydrotherapy swim spa enjoys the same stunning outlook, offering a peaceful place to unwind. The expansive front lawn is perfect for cricket or soccer games, and doubles as a front-row seat for Victor Harbor`s New Year`s Eve fireworks. Children can enjoy the giant treehouse with its full-size fire pole, jumbo in-ground trampoline and multiple swings, while adults gather around the large fire pit.

Explore walking trails through natural scrub and across a winter creek. At the top, a beautiful meadow with picnic benches rewards you with sweeping views of the southern coast. Along the way, you may spot resident kangaroos, echidnas, ring-tailed possums, timid antechinus, cheeky foxes and young Black Angus cattle. The sanctuary is also home to abundant birdlife, including a resident pair of wedge-tailed eagles, superb fairy wrens, willie-wagtails, flocks of finches, sulphur-crested cockatoos, galahs, kookaburras, rosellas, owls and tawny frogmouths.
Please treat the our home as if it were your own. Kindly leave the property in a tidy condition upon departure. Unexpected additional cleaning cost will be forwarded to you.

$200AUD cleaning/deodorising fee charged if guest is found to have been smoking in the property.

CHECK OUT: Check out strictly at 10AM. Additional charges will be incurred for our cleaners time if not vacant upon their arrival. We charge $30AUD for the first 30 minutes, and $60AUD for every 30-minutes after this.

LOST KEYS/LOCKOUTS: Please keep the property key with you all the time during your stay. Lost key/emergency key delivery charges will be $180AUD plus key replacement fee or cost of a locksmith.

LOST PROPERTY: For any items left behind - the host will hold the item for a maximum of 30 days from check-out date after which time they will be considered abandoned and disposed of or donated. During the 30 day collection period, collection can be arranged by way of the guest providing a prepaid postage bag to a supplied address or the item can be collected in person at an agreed time and location.
