Hotel a Hinehopu

“Dirty and gross. We paid to upgrade to a more updated room with view of geysers and it was better than original room but the bathroom was completely disgusting. I cannot imagine when it was last serviced but it was appalling. Staff were nice but otherwise SKIP this motel. We could not leave fast enough. ”

“The property seemed old and tired, especially the kids games room and the non-thermal hot pools, which we did not use. The 20 second delay for the boom gate to open was quite annoying and the access out on to the main road, when turning right, was also a bit dodgy. ”

“Place was a dump. Toilet didn’t work properly, television didn’t work, remote needed batteries, wifi didn’t work properly. The food menu wasn’t even close to the pictures on line. It was run down and was a disaster. We paid for two nights but checked out after one. Only positive was Claire the manager. ”

“We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Geyser Lookout B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel so welcome. They live on site and are both very friendly, helpful, and clearly work very hard to ensure every guest has an excellent stay.
