Hotel vicino a Hitchcock Woods - Aiken

“Great location with a historic feel right on the main street with shops and restaurants at your doorstep. Breakfast is a step above highway hotels but nothing to rave about. Common areas are abundant indoors and out with lovely furnishings. Bedrooms are a bit dated.”

“This was the worst Marriott property I have stayed at. If you stay there don't accept staying in room 108. I was next to the kitchen where they prepare the free brunch. I heard banging on the next room off and on from about 7-8:30 AM. Also, people who I assume were staff were talking right outside my door early in the morning. I was in a rush to get ready to go out and meet friends for dinner and as I went to get ready and take a shower I discovered that I did not have any towels. There were...

“Picture shows a breakfast bar, which is why we booked this place. That's closed down. The pool was green. The room was clean enough, but the mattress and bedframe were extremely cheap feeling. I get this was a cheaper option for the area, and even so expected much better. Further, it seemed like section 8 housing with lots of noise overnight.”

“The staff was accommodating and worked to get me a ground-floor room. I made a mistake when booking the room and accidentally selected a smoking room. There was only one non-smoking room left on the ground floor, and it was an upgrade. The staff worked with me on the price so that I could get that room. The room and property were clean. There was ample parking. Only a short drive to downtown Aiken with its shops and restaurants.”
