My experience was terrible. When I arrived at the apartment, the owner gave me no information or instructions about the room. I tried calling him several times (3+ times), but he didn’t answer. I even waited outside while security called him, and he still didn’t respond. I had to wait almost 30 minutes before he finally answered the security’s call, but he never picked up my calls or replied to my texts. I had booked the room a day in advance, yet I ended up waiting around at 2 a.m. to get in.
As for the room condition, it was just okay. The bathroom roof was leaking, leaving water on the floor, and the WiFi password he provided was wrong, I had to call him again to get the correct one. When it came time to check out, there were still no instructions. The staff told me I needed to contact the owner, but he never provided any guidance. Isn’t it the owner’s responsibility to clearly give all instructions and information before handing over the room? After all, I paid for the stay, it’s not like I stayed there for free.
