“The house was very clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained, which we really appreciated during our stay. However, there were two downsides to be aware of. First, after booking, the owner asked us to pay an extra money for cleaning fee, even though it was not clearly listed in the Expedia booking details. “We were greeted by friendly staff when we arrived! We were provided bottled water and cookies. The room was clean and well stocked with towels and washcloths. The continental breakfast was good and the staff kept all the different food items stocked. The staff was always polite and eager to assist if needed.”

“This hotel did not meet the reputation associated with a Marriott hotel. The mattress was old, haggard and bumpy; very uncomfortable to sleep in. It should have been replaced a long time ago. The pillows were all equally hard and uncomfortable. Ended up using a decorative pillow instead. When I tried calling the front desk, the phone didn’t work either. What a great disappointment.”
