“Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit, cereals, and a hot cooked breakfast. The only negative, we had to pay for parking, we booked on Expedia and it was advertised as parking available, no mention of having to pay. We will use this hotel again but will book directly through the hotel website. ( cheaper too )”

The owners were incredibly helpful, especially when we let them know we wouldn’t be arriving until midnight — they couldn’t have been more accommodating. “This is the second time we have stayed here, in two months. Once again, we cannot praise the whole experience any higher than absolutely excellent. The location for all amenities, the staff for their help in making our stay wonderful. The hotel itself, including the rooms, are to the highest standard and cleanliness. “We didn't take up our booking because we were advised by our friends and relatives (one is a member of the local constabulary) who live locally that the hotel is filthy, poorly managed and used more as a hostel for undesirables. We were advised not to stay there, consequently we didn't even see the establishment so cannot confirm whether that is the case.”

“Absolutely charming! The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. ”
