“The hotel was clean, but could do with refresh in places. Staff were friendly and professional. Although next to busy roads, soundproofing was very efficient and didn't notice the traffic. My wife found the bed a bit hard, I was fine, but it did make a lot of noise, even when just sitting on it. The Italian restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent. The location was ideal for our needs, a trip to The Deep and a bit of shopping. If visiting Hull again, I would have no problem booking into...

“Finding the entrance (you'd think it would be the front door) was tricky and I had to show a copy of my receipt upon check-in (seemed odd) so I feared the worst. In fact the room was lovely and warm on a very cold day, clean, had a desk and fast wi-fi. The takeaway next door was also convenient. Car parking was free and off road. So despite the weirdness of the check-in everything was fine and great value for money if you just need a no-frills overnight stay.”

“The stay at this hostel was great. Hannah at the reception was very helpful, friendly, and always smiling. The check-in and check-out processes were also quick. The room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean. Even though the hotel is close to a railway line, the trains didn't disturb the silence at all. Breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety.”

“Really nice hotel, went early and asked if we could park up till the check in time, and they said no problem! Leave your car and go enjoy your day, short walk to sea front, went back at 3pm and there’s a bar situated in the hotel called the hidden gem which we didn’t know about, cheap prices and craft beers and ciders too so bonus! Staff were great, room was a family room but spot on for us and the continental breakfast the next morning was fabulous! Would definitely recommend and stay again.”

“Pros: - Very modern structure; - Room's large and clean; - Kind staff. Cons: - Restaurant has only junk food; - Anything you might want you need to pay extra 5 pounds. Gym? 5 pounds. “The room was spacious and comfortable, although was really hot the first night we stayed we had a fan in the room which cooled us down. The staff were all pleasant and friendly especially the lady serving and accomodating breakfast in the morning, she made our stay and we only saw her 2 mornings for a few minutes but she was so friendly and accommodating with a really good character, a real asset to the Hotel, i would stay there again just to have her serve me breakfast!”

We had a few drinks in the bar and the rooftop bar, both were really nice and felt really cosy to sit in. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from.
