“When we checked in dirty rags were left in the room. In the morning there was no hot water to take a shower. When I called front desk the employee told me they are working on it and that management was on the way to the hotel. Fast forward an hour later, still no hot water. So I spoke to the front desk employee to get a partial refund and cancel my next night, she seemed like she was very bothered with that question.”

“Excellent place to stay on our trip West. Rooms are amazing and spacious, great river view. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Good, safe location and much to do. Easy parking and very friendly staff. Great restaurant choices. We will be back.”

“This place is a dive. Rooms reek of smoke. It’s not secured (broken exterior side door) and the facility is completely in ill repair. The best part was checking out.”

“They did not have a shuttle driver always available. It was an inconvenience to fly away. Had to Uber thinking I had a shovel service.”

“The room smelled horrible and was very unclean. The room was not at all what was advertised nor did we know the elevator was broken and we would have to climb 4 flights of stairs. Ended up leaving because we were so uncomfortable with the room. ”

“The breakfast was just okay. The omelets were the best thing. The potatoes and eggs were unseasoned and watery. Bacon was undercooked and soggy. Pancakes were hard as rocks. ”

“Tru Hotel Chain never disaapoints.This particular location was perfect. It was clean, very nice staff, safe environment and best of all, walking distance for everything. This area is a whole vibe. You never have to leave the area for good food, nice bar or nite life. I will definitely stay here again. ”

“The hotel was very well maintained and clean. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, and had a variety of food. Our suite was very clean and spacious for our family of 4 for a 3 day weekend. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The pool was clean and well stocked with towels. Reception/Guest Services were super friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. It was within 20-25 minutes of the zoo, union station and the downtown and within minutes of the Westport Plaza....
