Better than i could have imagined

We had never been to AMI and we now want to make it a part of our family life. The vibe is lo-key and every clerk and waitstaff seemed to love their jobs. AMI is still recovering from two dreadful hurricanes but the island was busy and totally functional. The beach is GORGEOUS. I walked 4-5 miles everyday BAREFOOT. Not many beaches where you can do that!Now- this house. Absolutely perfect. Our family consisted of grandparents, parents with two young boys (they LOVED the bunkroom) and a married couple. The four bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths were just what we needed. The kitchen and living space is large, bright, super well-appointed (really nice glassware, cookware etc) which was nice as our weather was cooler than normal for mid February. The pool is lovely with plenty of seating and an outdoor shower. When the host says there are beach toys, chairs, umbrellas and a beach wagon- believe her! We did not need to bring anything for the beach which was so convenient. The host was super responsive during the months leading up to our time there and also while we were in the house.On a scale of 1-10 this house gets an 11!

Family vacation

Location and property was perfect. Short walk to a quiet beach located in a more residential area of Anna Maria Island. The property was well equipped including items for our 9 month old grandson, pack & play, high chair, float for pool to name a few. The property is well maintained with plenty of space and amenities for our family. We would not hesitate to come back to this property. With that being said, the one issue we had when we arrived was at check-in. We were surprised to find the pool murky and dark green. Unfortunately, Randy did not make us aware that a pipe was accidentally disconnected and dirt entered the pool. A pool person came to the property throughout our stay but it still took 2.5+ days for the pool to be usable. This was a big disappointment both in lack of communication and not being able to use the pool on those days. Two other areas to consider prior to booking the property. I would agree with the previous review that the mattresses are soft and may not be for everyone, like myself. Also, if you are coming with an infant, realize that there is no tub in the house, although if you purchase a small inflatable pool it easily fits in the large showers as my daughter-in-law did. Our entire family agreed that we would stay at this property on a future Anna Maria Island vacation.

Beautiful property!

The whole family really enjoyed this property. The home offers everything you need! We loved the pool and hot tub. I would recommend this property to my friends if they are visiting Anna Maria beach.

Incredible Home

The house is beautiful & located across the street from the beach. It is a PERFECT LOCATION on AMI! There are 3 levels of decks on the house, so you have views galore! The deck off the third-floor primary was where the hub & I spent a great deal of time. You have to actually go to the beach each evening to see the complete sunset b/c there is a house & some trees that block your view if you try to see it from any of the decks. But considering it’s a 3-minute walk, it’s so easy to do. The location on the beach is spectacular - not jammed like other areas on the island. The back yard is an oasis in & of itself. The pool & spa are both perfection, as well as the out-door shower. Additionally, the garage is FULL of beach chairs & floats & anything you might need for the trip to the beach. The water pressure is wonderful in the house, which is always important to us. Additionally, there is a wonderful laundry room with a very nice washer & dryer. All of the appliances are wonderful. The mattresses are all soft - and low to the ground. That didn’t work well for our backs b/c we are accustomed to very firm mattresses but might be perfect for others. Same with the two sofas in the living area - they are very low to the ground & don’t have high enough backs on them to be comfortable. In the scheme of things, those were very minor issues to us b/c literally everything else was so incredible. It is a perfect vacation home & the owner is so helpful & communicative. It’s a TEN!

Great stay!

Really enjoyed our stay at the house, the house is in exceptionally good shape and was very clean. Location was great with just a just a short stroll to the beach in either direction. The pool was wonderful and enjoyed by all when we needed some shade in the mid-day sun. The house has a great location close to all the amenities you could want like restaurants or the pharmacy or grocery store. Would not hesitate to rent again.

Winter in Paradise

This is a stunning home with remarkable management by Randy and close proximity to beach activities, coastal beauty, restaurants, and activities. What caught our attention was the amenities offered at this home: a hot tub connected to a heated pool, comfortable beds, a kitchen equipped with Wolfe brand appliances, and a garage filled with extras to take to the ocean. Most importantly, the owner, Anita, answered every email quickly, and her property exceeded our expectations. If you choose to stay, you will not want to leave, even if Florida is going through a cold front.

AMI Vacation

Absolutely amazing property. Close proximity to the beach and a very quiet stretch of beach. Beds were super comfy and my kids loved the pool! Everything in the home was so nicely appointed. It made for an amazing week away from home. We will be back!

Wonderful property on a beautiful island!

We just got back from a recent (June 2022) stay at this property and we left with nothing but positive feedback to report. This is our second trip to the area having stayed in Siesta Key last year. First, Anna Maria Island is quite beautiful and the beaches are second to none. There are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and lot’s of recreational activities if you are so inclined. But some time at the pool or beach relaxing isn’t half bad either! Now, to the property. Being quite new, everything is just about perfect and in great condition. I would also say that the owners took the time to make sure the house was outfitted to a high level. Things like Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances for example. When I see things like that I know corners were not cut and there is an appreciation for doing things right. The pool and spa area are again top notch. We loved how the pool received full sun but you could retreat under the overhang of the home for a little shade. A great setup and very appreciated. The other area to retreat to is the rooftop deck. I think we spent time up there every evening after watching the sunset at the beach. The bedrooms were all good sizes and came with a wall-mounted television. The bathrooms were also very nice and large and finished in tile. Lastly, the location is just about perfect. It took just a minute or two to walk across the street to the beach. We never found the beach crowded as there is not much parking in the area. Unless you are staying close by you are probably not in that area of the beach. By the way, the beach quality is outstanding. Anna Maria Island even came by each day with a tractor and raked any seaweed off of the sand. Summing things up. A great quality property in an equally great location! We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely consider coming back!

Amazing House

Most beautiful house we stayed in. The pictures do not do it justice. So close to the beach, grocery store, Dunkin’ and the roof top deck and pool - awesome!! Randy was great to work with and so helpful and we’ve never had an owner communicate with us - Anita was great too! This house has everything!!

Wonderful house -Multigenerational getaway

What a great house! Our three generations all had a great time on AMI with this as our beautiful homebase. The main floor is spacious and welcoming with an open plan and doors that slide to open the room to the deck. The kitchen is honestly bigger than they need, but who doesn’t like a huge island. Table is meant for 7, but we squeezed two more folding chairs on comfortably. And the morning coffee and sunsets on the roof deck… I miss it already. Randy was Very responsive and helpful responding to any issues that came up (eg preferred a mattress in the downstairs room to using the fold out in the main floor). Back bedrooms are a bit tight but we didn’t spend much time there, so didn’t end up being an issue. Beach access is very easy and close and everything you could need for the beach is provided, including two big beach wagons. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home

Beautiful home with easy access to the beach. House was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need for a beach vacation. Property manager and host were excellent. We are already looking forward to booking another trip to this property!
