Escape to our cozy, amenity - packed lakefront cottage on Little York Lake. This charming retreat offers a perfect blend of tranquility, adventure and picturesque views no matter the season. Enjoy direct lake access for swimming, kayaking, and serene moments. In winter, hit nearby slopes for skiing, or go ice fishing on the lake, returning to our charming cottage for a fireside retreat. This ultimate lakeside getaway for all seasons is an ideal choice for a couple, family or a group of friends.

The space

100' of lake frontage providing direct lake access w/ expansive 28' dock, 4 complimentary kayaks for guest use with life jackets, and swimming area with floaties. Firepit w/ 5 Adirondack chairs overlooking the lake. 300 sqft lakeside deck with expansive views of Little York Lake.

- 15 minutes to SUNY Cortland
- 25 minutes to Skaneateles
- 30 minutes from Syracuse Hancock International Airport, Syracuse University and other Syracuse area destinations.
- 10 minutes to the Villages of Homer and Tully

Bedrooms: Primary suite with king bed and half bathroom, 2nd bedroom with queen bed, living space w/ twin pull-out sofa bed. Accommodates up to a maximum of five guests.

Indoors: Well equipped kitchen with gas oven, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, keurig, dishware & flatware, microwave, toaster, air fryer, wine glasses, and pots and pans for cooking a delicious meal.

- First floor full bathroom with walk in tile rainfall shower.
-Eco conscious bath products featuring cruelty free, gluten free and paraben free shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
- Cozy living room with massive 90' inch smart TV & Roku
- TVs equipped with Rokus in each bedroom.
-Electric fireplace in living room for cozy indoor time overlooking the lake.
- Dining room in enclosed sun porch with wrap around water views
- Work desk with monitor, HDMI cord and power surge for remote work!
- 1GB high speed Wifi
- Central A/C & heat
- Parking: Driveway in front of cottage with 2 spaces, additional parking for 1-2 cars available next to shed.

Please note that both bedrooms are upstairs.

Guest access

Guests have full access to the cottage, the outdoor space including the deck, fire pit, docks, and kayaks.

Please note that the 3rd floor attic is restricted from guest access and is monitored by a security camera.

Long weekend for a college graduation

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the house very much and I truly appreciated the host’s attention to detail.. it felt like we were staying with a friend! The host was extremely responsive and gave great recommendations. The location was wonderful for us. Very peaceful and relaxing. We would love to rerun!

Lake cottage

Very clean. Owner thought of everything. Nice deck. Master bedroom is awesome. We fell in love with the area. Great scenic drives, hiking, biking, golf, restaurants. Peaceful lake atmosphere .

Restful house with great deck

Our visit was quiet and calming, just what we hoped for. The house is nicely decorated and provides all the amenities that we needed. It’s right on the lake and has a nice large deck. The setting is very country, but there are a few places to visit. We went to a country store that had food and other necessities, a rather large plant store, and Bob’s barbecue, which was excellent. The hosts were readily accessible. In the summer, this would be a fun place for a family visit. In the fall, it provided us with a peaceful getaway.

Perfect Lake Cottage

I was so impressed by all of the amenities this Lake cottage had to offer! James was so easy to communicate with and made our stay extra special with the smores basket and breakfast supplies he had waiting for us! The views from every room are to die for and the fact that there were four kayaks available for our family to use made it possible for us all to enjoy the beauty of the lake together. We will undoubtedly be returning next year!

Cutest cleaniest cottage. Owners so thoughtful leaving a care basket for us with some local goodies. Communication was terrific. Cannot wait to stay again. It was perfect!
