She phoned us 3 times confirming our arrival time. We told her it would be around a certain time and she mentioned to us that as it was a long weekend, they wanted to leave earlier then the stated check in time. “It was a different and unique experience to stay in the old gaol with the kitchen, common rooms and showers being communal - to learn the history was great. No amenities included in the room (room just including bed, toilet and sink) - though there was a great amount in the shared kitchen. While everything was communal it was extremely clean and inviting. James and Melissa were super friendly as well as their little cats! ”

“The room was adequate for a base to explore the region. The staff or room bot was good on the responsiveness and when advised of a dripping tap, got a plumber in promptly. Great location with a view over the township ”

“It was a good experience. Helpfull staffs and relatively quiet downtown accommodation. Experienced loud music from adjacent rooms during the weekend nights but got stopped by 11:00 pm. The management Seriously need to get rid of that dirty old Sofa in the Matthew living room as it is awful with dirty spots and marks…otherwise it deserve a five star. Will nmot be suitable for elderly folks who will not be able to climb two flight of stairs carrying luggage up and down.”

“Really easy stop for us on our Road Trip. Room was spacious and absolutely perfect for a nightly stop. Pool was good, very warm and perfect for kids and a quick dip. The shower in the room is in desperate need of some bleach on the walls, a bit of black mould forming, apart from that the stay was good and the staff nice enough.”
