“Communication with the host was great. My father had a medical issue beyond the refund window that stopped us from making the original reservation date, Owner allowed us to move our date out a couple of weeks. Everything was clean, the kitchen and dishes were clean. The bathroom was brand new. All of the beds were comfy and clean. I slept on the couch bed in the third room, it was firm and comfortable. “We were looking for a place that we could bring our dog, was peaceful, near water, and mainly relax. This bnb is just that plus more. The decor inside is romantic, cozy, and whimsical. Waking up to the sunrise and mountians as your alarm clock was incredible. Enjoying a cup of coffee or beverage of choice on the front deck and seeing the occasional deer, IMPRESSED! “Stayed here for a weekend with a family of 19. Everyone had a great time! Great onsite amenities and nearby places to explore. Loved that each room had a private bath as we had multiple families, some with little kids. “The house was generously sized to fit our group of 12 and everyone had plenty of room to spread out and explore. The pond was fantastic and we all fell in love with Gary the resident duck. Indoor pool and hot tub were excellent and clean. The views from the porch were incredible! We had some very hot weather and the AC kept up pretty well. If planning to cook and serve own meals would recommend bringing large disposable bowls and serving trays. If catering, highly recommend Chickadee Catering....
