“It was large, clean and bright, easy to reach from the rail station and bus service 10 min and the city centre. A bit noise because is on the street. Excellent position to start the walk on the cliffs and see the paradisiac Seven Sisters”

“We had a lovely stay in the Beacon View accommodation. It has a back deck with a superb view so we were disappointed it rained for the whole time lol. Perfect spot for exploring the South Downs National Park, or hopping to Lewes, or like us a day trip to Drusillas Zoo....”

“L'hotel est situe a distance de marche (10 minutes) de la gare et du terminus du traversier, tres pratique. J'y suis reste un vendredi soir ou un grand groupe de cyclistes y sejournait. Ma chambre faisait face a la terasse et au restaurant donc tres bruyant jusqu'a environ 21h00. Ensuite silence complet (j'ai pu dormir la fenetre ouverte). Mon sejour fut bref mais j'y retournerait sans probleme. Epicerie et restaurant McDonald's a proximite.”

“Hotel is a lovely old grande style. We had a seaview room that was enormous with settee, table and chairs, great views over the ocean and spacious bathroom so very comfortable. Only thing missing was a small fridge which could fit easily. Good restaurant onsite. The buffet breakfast was good (a cheaper option not stated on the menu) as we don't eat cooked breakfasts. The highlight was the evening piano bar with a great female vocalist (later in the week). Staff were very good. Parking is fine...

“It is very nice budget accommodation. The location is outstanding, right on the beach. The parking could be a challenge. It cost £10 a day. Shower was lovely hot. All restaurants are close by. Including band stand. We have a lovely stay. We will come back again”

“The room was ideal ***** for myself as a solo traveller. This top floor room was nicely decorated. clean, secure, facilities perfect and no noise from the stairs/common area, nor outside. Could not fault the room at all. Decor throughout the hotel generally was very pleasant. The lift was out of order however it didn't spoil my stay as although one of the agile older generation, was up and down the stairs in no time at all. ”
