The owner met us at the Truck Love's Stop and showed us how to get back to the secluded camp site. I would not suggest to arrive when it is dark. It was very secluded which was great for my two dogs. “This place is better than described. It’s cozy and has anything you need for a getaway besides shower supplies. Close to the Mammoth Cave National Park: take the ferry route, is just 20 minutes. We had the chance to see the fireflies just from the deck. It’s lake access, and also this place has copious water gears, including kayaks. Corlynn and Joe are wonderful people, very helpful.”

“The hosts were super nice and polite. The house was beautiful in a very serene location. It was perfect for a cozy intimate getaway. If we hadn’t ran into an issue it would have been 5/5 stars. However, we ran into an issue on the first night though that dampened our plans and wasn’t able to be solved until the night of day two (we were leaving at 11 the next morning).
