Kismet Cottage, Horseshoe Bay

  • Kismet Cottage è la base ideale per esplorare belle spiagge Magnetic Island, baie e le splendide strutture nelle vicinanze. Perfetto per una fuga romantica per due o per la fuga di un singolo, la casa è situata su una strada chiusa di nuovo solo una strada da spettacolari tramonti e romantiche passeggiate sulla spiaggia o un drink o un pasto ai caffè, ristoranti e taverna lungo Pacific Drive .

    Il casolare iconico è stato ben arredate e decorate con un mix di pezzi a tema moderne, tradizionali e nautici, tra cui un king size letto a baldacchino e grande tavolo da caffè in legno rustico, grande schermo piatto, lettore DVD, lettore di musica di Bluetooth, comodo salotto e il braccio singolo sedia con poggiapiedi. I pavimenti originali del legno sono stati sabbiati e lucidati e la cucina originale si fonde con l'interno pittoresco e chiaro che è dotato di frigorifero a grandezza naturale e forno a gas indipendente e piano cottura (senza barbecue). Il bagno è dotato di servizi igienici, nuovi pavimenti in cotto e doccia.

    La zona giorno ha una grande condizionatore d'aria che è sufficiente per raffreddare fino alla camera da letto che ha anche un ventilatore a soffitto o le finestre a lamelle tutto attira la brezza dell'oceano, garantita da solo essendo a 50 metri dal bordo dell'acqua.

    Kismet Cottage è completamente autonomo e privato, con una bella esposizione nord portico nella parte anteriore e posti a sedere coperti anche sul retro della casa con lavanderia aperta e lavatrice.

    Biancheria e asciugamani forniti (si prega di portare gli asciugamani da spiaggia).

    Dorme solo 1 o 2 persone.

    Prezzi Standard e Peak Season applicano.
    Il minimo di 5 a 7 notti può essere richiesto nelle stagioni di punta e nei periodi di vacanza scolastica.

Older style but perfect for us. Four poster bed was special. Only one street back from the beach. Private and sheltered from the wind. Wallabies visit throughout the day. We would stay again.

House was tidy and presentable but kitchen table had crumbs everywhere House interior very outdated for the rental price Good location but yard surrounding the house was full of leaves so unusable Wallabies go through the area which was nice

A Getaway

A little old house, done up nicely. Quiet, peaceful, 5 mins from swimming in the stinger enclosure and shops. Very effective air-conditioning- essential in NQ summer. Kitchen well set up - we chose to mostly eat in. Working washing machine was handy for longer stays. Maybe, a technician could improve the sound of the TV - very echo-y for some reason. A top place - we would return.

Great location

Close to everything and very quiet. The property my be old but very clean and tidy. Well equipped. The kitchen and bathroom are a little dated but everything works and is functional. Spacious shower. If you are coming by bus it is only a 10 minute stroll from the bus stop. We would happily stay again.

Perfectly situated with artsy decor and fabulous bed

Love love this place. It has all the basic things you need and the 4 poster king bed is perfect for a comfortable holiday sleep. So convenient to the waterfront and shops. Hope to be back.

Kismet

Kismet is convinently located and in a beautiful quite cul de sac. Decorated very nicely and embracing some of those gorgeous vintage traits of a house of its era. The kitchen has all the supplies we needed and some very nice tableware to boot. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of extra sheets/ blankets for cool nights. It didnt bother me not having curtains in the second bed area, however might bother some people. The only thing we couldnt find was the bbq that the welcome information had on it, however we didnt need one anyway. Assuming to COVID it is likely that the cleanliness has been overlooked before our check in, with the place been very dusty, ?a blood spot on the windowsill and the bathroom sink tap been taped over. The most concerning thing for us became the very large rusted out hole in the air vent for the house waste/septic system, which we discovered due to a wafting smell and a unmovable resident frog. There was also some overflow of toilet waste from this location. The property manager was prompt at sending a plumber, however he was unable to fix this before we left. Overall a nice location with all the amenities you could need. Perfect for a lovely getaway with your partner or a friend etc.

Great little base for 2 within easy walking distance to beach and shops

Lovely little cottage - quiet and well set up. Kitchen basics avl. Suitable for a couple. The single bed only really suitable for a young child and no curtains in that area but they don’t advertise it as more than 1 bedroom so fine. Main bedroom lovely w ceiling fan,nice linen and comfy king size bed. We had our food delivered by the supermarket in Nelly Bay as we didn’t have a car. Cindy and her team very helpful and check in/out easy. Close to beach and not far to walk to bus stops but at the end of a quiet steeet.

10/10. Great location; clean, lovely cottage.

Had a great couple days at the Kismet. Organization, check-in etc. was super easy; great location close to the beach and all major shops and restaurants in Horseshoe Bay; perfectly clean; beautifully decorated cottage, so many beautiful details (beach vibes); kitchen fully equipped; house generally has pretty much everything already there. Will be back!
